TSLA ran up purely due to the election results. No one should be surprised that it came back down. NVDA has a lot of headwinds. Seems like all the juice has been squeezed for the short term
And no one should be surprised when it goes back up when Trump okays FSD and cybercabs. It's the game for the next 4 years.

NVDA is dirt cheap. Almost a value stock now.

ok, limit order buy 103 NVDA. TSLA too risky for me maybe at 220. Also put order for GOOG $168. Buying in increments

The one thing I will say about NVDA. It's not only the chips. Its CUDA software ecosystem is the gold standard and makes it very difficult for companies to change providers. NVDA's moat is massive.

I have TSLA in my custom stock basket, but it is a wild ride (Elon, Trump, meme community, etc.).

SERV is $7.80. Will it drop to $5?
That price is pretty reasonable. Not sure about $5. Sometimes you just need to start buying.

Remember, we are only 1 tweet away from a market rally that will rip your face off. That's the nature of policy driven crashes or pumps. It's all artificial and not based on economic factors. Just the whims of those in charge.

S&P down only 6% and DOW 5%. I think the market has to be down 10% before Trump stops the madness. The Techs will reach their bottom before then.

If you think you can predict Trump.....go for it. LOL! Just probably a good idea to buy a little as things progress. Lutnick is already doing damage control on the tariffs with Mexico and Canada. He's forecasting the upcoming pivot.

Trump can ok whatever he wants but Tesla is not ready. The hold up is not Trump.

That's fair, but it doesn't mean the stock won't rally hard. And look for the Trump order of 1 million TSLA robots for government office work. :)

I'm pretty highly invested and don't have a ton of cash on the sidelines not producing about 5% ROI. But I just took $100k of it and put it into my Etrade account and am buying even for a short term pop when this thing flips back.

I say GOOG, META, and NFLX. META and NFLX has to come down a little more. I’ll look at GS, chart looks good.

I just saw article most undervalue moat stock, 1) UNH, 2) GOOG.
UNH up $10.76 and GOOG up $1, I think they bottom or close to it. Added small amount of META down 15% now.

My O, PEP, APPL and JNJ are positive today which is a good sign.

Should just buy crypto if that’s the plan.

They can prematurely approve FSD and cybercabs which will definitely result in a huge run up o TSLA. However when FSD and cybercabs results in deaths (think how the measles outbreak is affecting RFK Jr's plan), then it will all get backtracked really quickly.

Since the rollout began, Tesla drivers in China have been livestreaming their experiences with FSD, and many are reporting that the system struggles to adhere to Chinese traffic laws, Electrek reported. Some users have received multiple tickets in a single drive for improper lane use, driving in bike lanes, and making illegal turns. China’s automated traffic enforcement system quickly penalizes such infractions, leaving FSD users frustrated.

One Tesla driver reportedly received seven tickets during a single drive while using FSD. Others noted that the system sometimes misinterprets traffic signals, drives in restricted lanes, or navigates incorrectly by failing to recognize turn-only lanes. Some users have also highlighted issues with object recognition, with one report stating that the system mistakenly identified red balloons as traffic lights.

Good they are testing it in China

being retired my wife constantly asks me "what were you doing all morning on the computer?" I just told her "well you know that $100k I played with this morning? Instead of making $12 interest today at 4.35% I just made a fast $1200 and paid for our lunch out times 10 just today lol".

I don't gamble unless i think I know a thing or two. This didn't even require any insight , just common sense and being in a spot to win on black or red. .

Stocks experiencing the most net buying over the past week (as per CNBC):

NVDA, PLTR, and TSLA

Missed on PLTR when it briefly dipped below $80.

At my stage of life I'm into continued growth in my qualified funds but taking dividends in my non-qualified account. I found two investments off of Fox Business (LOL) that I love. JEPI (that was paying 12% and now just under 8% that pays monthly (and has also grown 8+ % on the base) and what I bought more of today.... . SPG Simon Property Group. 4.7% Dividend but had also grown nearly 60% on top of that last 2 years.
As I figured once interest rates started to decline money would flow into higher dividend investments and real estate would start to take off. I tend to stick with things I've seen perform in my portfolio vs. trying to find the shiny new toy.

If you like JEPI, check out JEPQ as well. NASDAQ version of JEPI

I think he was asking what did you buy and sell to make the $1200 yesterday.

Let's see the data on Friday. ADP is absolute garbage. Just a random number generator. This is as per TL an FS Insights.
I don’t see how the data can possibly be good although I don’t know all the details of how it’s calculated. Fed gov’t cuts/jobs, inflation, tariff uncertainty would likely lead to downtrends

Probably. And the market is painfully oversold. Let's see if Trump sticks the landing with a deal tomorrow or over the next few days.
hey what's your thought on CVX (Chevron)? I've made a solid return on it over the past few years but wondering if the push to lower energy costs is going to hurt them. Coin I guess it could flip both ways I suppose and they do return a very nice 4.5% dividend. Took a good hit last 10 days with the Venezuela deal loss but still wondering if it might be a good time to take those profits and reinvest elsewhere?

I've held CVX for over 30 years. What's your basis? Mine is roughly 15, so the annual dividend on my original investment is (very roughly) 40%. And what would you do with the after tax proceeds?
