Time to buy UNH?

MS with a note out today. See's EPS of $22 this year and $26 next year. Even with a 15x multiple, that's near 30% increase. 2.7% div. $10bil buy back in place.

Bought some and thinking of adding more at these levels. Seems like a home run if you are willing to wait a bit for the rebound…

Ya I just added as well. I could see a short term rebound given how much it sold off. But the bigger money is probably as a longer term investment.

Just added to UNH and LLY.

Figure it best to add to some down trodden giants, as opposed to chasing the current rally.

I bought some more XLV yesterday, ETF covering healthcare sector. Two of the biggest holdings are UNH and LLY. I prefer to diversify over single stock exposure

The FUD has been epic with the company. The CEO leaving is probably a good thing to clear the deck and start over. And I do believe the company totally sandbagged results due to recent events and the politics of the moment. Looks like it is hovering around $320 in pre-market.

I would love to add to tech and start new positions, but now is probably not the time. Enjoy and be thankful for what you already have. UNH and maybe SBUX with the China situation deescalating?

Let me get rolling on UNH. Starting a 1/2 position. I will check out SBUX during regular hours.
New headline. SBUX workers walk off due to dress code.

Their workers are a pain in the ***.

MS has it as a buy, but I see a lot of sell's on the name.

Drug companies and health insurance companies are easily amongst the most hated by the public. The only reason they historically done well is because of their lobbying prowess. Under a populist government, lobbying power should be limited. I would therefore stay away.

Well, a couple of posters asked him what he was in and then he said he lost a couple hundred thousands the next day. I don’t care what people say on these boards.
I was up
Then I lost a lot
Threw in a nice chunk of cash at the bottom
Now up again.

I was wrong though, I predicted we’d be whole my 4th of July and here we are not even Memorial Day.

Also, noticed most of the world is ending, never gonna retire people have disappeared. Shocker

RDDT ripping. Not sure why.

It's one year chart seems like a fairly common story right now. An up trend interrupted by the post election rip/tariff announcement meltdown, only to get back on the long term uptrend on the back end of it all.

I don’t usually invest based on anecdotal BS, but I was a hard-core daily SBUX customer for 12 years and former shareholder. Their menu, the experience, service, etc. has been in decline to the point a month ago I stopped handing them my $5.60 p/day. Just wasn’t getting a premium product/experience. I’ve got a large position in BROS which has a cult-like following and ambitious expansion plans although may be worth waiting for pullback.

As Cali stated it posted in this thread. And it was actually better because I thought he was putting the money iin on the Friday but he didn’t. Then market was closed Monday, money went in Tuesday and away we go.

I’m not necessarily a Cramer fan but I do watch him. I follow nobody’s investment advice. But, neither in this clip nor any other time I’ve heard him (which is basically every day) did he say “sell.” Did he warn of a possible ‘87 like crash, yes, IF x, y,z happened but it didn’t. There is a big difference between the two.

Quantum stocks are up huge. I am almost at my full allocation. Time to start selling calls and generate revenue.

CoreWeave beats on revenue, reports more than 400% growth in first earnings after IPO

Shares of artificial intelligence infrastructure provider CoreWeave reported better-than-expected revenue on Wednesday in the company’s first earnings release since going public. The stock popped in extended trading.

Here’s how CoreWeave did in comparison to LSEG consensus:

  • Earnings per share: Loss of $1.49
  • Revenue: $981.6 million vs. $853 million expected

Revenue soared 420% in the quarter, which ended on March 31, from $188.7 million a year ago, according to a statement. That compares with 737% growth for all of 2024.

The company’s net loss of $314.6 million widened from $129.2 a year earlier, partly because of $177 million in stock-based compensation costs for awards tied to the initial public offering.

CoreWeave is aware of uncertainty stemming from global trade policy, Mike Intrator, CoreWeave’s co-founder and CEO, told analysts on a conference call.

“However, in spite of the uncertainties, customer demand is accelerating, which is reflected in guidance we are issuing today,” he said.

In renting out access to Nvidia graphics processing units, CoreWeave competes with cloud providers such as Amazon. But large companies such as Google and Microsoft have come to depend on CoreWeave.

During the quarter, OpenAI committed to a five-year deal with CoreWeave that will be worth up to $11.9 billion. The transaction is on top of OpenAI’s reliance on Microsoft, which was responsible for 62% of CoreWeave’s 2024 revenue.

There was some skepticism heading into the report even though the stock was up 31% for the week.

Long-term uncertainty on AI supply and demand, as well as worries about the economy, “likely keep shares range-bound for now,” Wells Fargo analysts wrote in a report to clients last week. The firm recommends holding the stock.

After completing the biggest U.S. venture-backed tech IPO since 2021, CoreWeave saw its shares debut on Nasdaq in late March, initially at $39.

Nvidia, a customer and major supplier and already one of CoreWeave’s major investors, stepped in to anchor the IPO at $40, below the $47 to $55 range announced earlier.

Executives will discuss the results and issue guidance on a conference call at 5 p.m. ET.

still there's this guy lol

I didn’t know Cramer followed me on this board
It’s going be a bigger down day than Thur or Friday. I find it funny VK91 saying his broker called him Friday to get approval for selling stocks and Caliknight agreed his advisor did the same. I think a couple brokers contacted their clients over the weekend. I’ll be buying but I probably have a year to make the decisions.

Be like T2K and you should have been fully invested the last couple of months. Your prediction is a up day on Monday?
