"Syracuse, now led by sixth-year head coach Dino Babers, has been again trying to build his own recruiting pipeline. But as Babers and SU stumbled to a 1-10 season, Greg Schiano returned to Rutgers, one of Syracuse’s other major competitors in northeast recruiting, last year for his second stint as head coach. After assembling a top-20 Class of 2022 that features five 4-star players, four of which are from the northeast, per 247Sports, Schiano has further frustrated the Orange’s recruiting efforts. Syracuse’s 2022 class, meanwhile, is 58th nationally, and has zero players four stars or higher."

Dino is a good coach IMO Syracuse is a tough job to win at especially in the ACC. They would be a good fit for the MAC when the ACC falls apart. Could have a good rivalry with Buffalo.
I think you’re onto something. They really do belong in the MAC if you’re looking at it objectively.

After informing them of his induction, McPherson asked the coaches what they thought of SU’s then-head coach, Greg Robinson, who was coming off a 2-10 season in 2007. Anselmo and Mack replied that they had never met Robinson. In his three years as SU’s head coach, Robinson never visited the local school that sent over 150 players to Division I programs under Anselmo.
Anselmo could always call Pasqualoni’s office at Syracuse and talk to the coach on the phone. But he never called Robinson — or even met him. He didn’t know who Robinson was, a sentiment echoed by several other area high school coaches who spoke with The Daily Orange.

Gee, which former Rutgers head coach does that remind you of?

Since they fired Pasqualoni in 2004, they've had 4 winning regular seasons: 2010, 2012, 2018, 2022. Overall their record has been 84-138 (37.8%).

Greg Robinson (2005-2008) 5-37
Doug Marrone (2009-2012) 25-25
Scott Shafer (2013-2015) 14-23
Dino Babers (2016-Present) 40-53

True. The entire league outside of FSU and and a serviceable Clemson, UNC and Duke are trash.

League full of milquetoast with some real stinkers like the fruits thrown in. Acc, Cal, Stanford and SMU are all desperate parties who found each other in hopes of getting lucky.

It’s no shock why FSU is bolting. The only question is what happens with UNC at this

Bro. Our 3/4 losses are to top 20 teams and the other to Wisconsin before their QB was injured.

Cuse was blown out by VT...a team we pummelled...with Gavin as QB lol

Although there is absolutely nothing bowl like about the Brown Stripe Bowl, it could be fun to beat Cuse or BC.
Beat PSU and Maryland and get to Vegas or Nashville. Beat USC!
