RU Boston-
How is your son doing?
He played at the D 1 collegiate level which is an incredible accomplishment..can’t imagine how proud you are of that feat.
Unknowing people see good high school players and don’t realize they can’t even play D 3.. that’s how good you have to be.😊🤙
This is so true. We had a cousin who pitched at Lafayette for four years. Watching him play teams including navy it was an eye opener to see what great athletes these kids are at that level. The parents of players in high school really don’t have an appreciation in most cases for the talent level.

That was amazing to watch yesterday. His swing is a thing of beauty. Even though a Red Sox fan I had to root for him. He didn't play much in college (Dartmouth), then lost two years due to Covid. He was totally off the radar for almost all MLB teams. The Yankees did their homework and went up to MA several times for private workouts to watch him.

It would be nice if Rodon didn't put his team in a hole in the 1st inning.
And if somebody besides the new kid could contribute on offense.

Verdugo also made a game-changing misplay in left right after Volpe's flub.
Ben Rice should have been the hero of this game.
