Thunder, the problem I see with that is the disproportionate effect it has on low income, especially fixed income individuals. Unless basics, such as food, were not taxed or taxed much less. It could be done, but would have to be nuanced.
I will listen to him when he has an athlete on or a personality that I may have an interest in. I have met him a few times over the years and he was pretty cool. He is so famous and rich now he is insulated from a lot.
Rogan could be a good voice of reason. He's entertaining but he has chosen to fan the flames for ratings.

After 3pm I listen to to Volquest Podcast on Tuesday and Thursday. Then back to my station on Amazon music. Makes for a good day while working

I mean in one a few years ago the attorney argued that no reasonable person should believe what is aired on Tuckers show. Fox does broadcast some actual news from time to time, but most of the air time is spent degrading the Dems, and childishly calling anyone that disagrees with them names, and its grown *** adults doing this, for money. Tuckers text after this election prove all they cared about were ratings, not broadcasting the actual truth.

There should be consequences for any outlet who knowingly publishes false, or doctored information to the public. Now with AI and how it can generated voices, pics, videos it concerns me even more about what is the truth and what is just agenda related BS. And just for the record, I am unaffiliated and voted for the GOP in 2016, and the Bushes before that, however todays GOP is not something I ever see myself voting for again unfortunately. With the 1/6 incident and they continue to support it, that was the final straw. Get this one, a couple of weeks ago a neighbor came over and we were talking, she asked if I voted for Trump, said I did the first time but could not the second time, she proceeded to tell me, and show me this site, and says Trump is the only one in Washington the aliens have not taken out part of their brains, and says they communicate with this Nancy woman who posts info from the aliens on this site. She warned me that in a couple of years 90% of the population would be dead from floods. She is selling her house but plans to stay in the Mtns because she thinks thats the safest place to be. Its amazing what the internet and all the BS info out there have done to people. She honestly believed this ****. I was trying to be respectful and not laugh her off the porch.

I watch a lot of news show, some European to keep up with and get a different perspective. Just the way a story is presented, video and audio, can sway the viewer to some degree. I think when a news channel puts out something that may be far fetched there is somewhere the story originated and their is normally a basis. The end story presented to the public may be very different.
