Guys this school thing is out of control. The USA bombed a girls school based on bad targeting data. It is awful and we should be sorry. It wasn’t intentional. Why is this so hard for everyone to agree on?

What’s not known? They bombed a school based on data more than 10 years old. Had no spotter on the ground to confirm the target was strategic.

I admitted just now no one wanted it to happen...that was not the goal. No other way to look at it...that we can agree on but you act like you know how it happened. You don't. It was a mistake and that's all that we know for fact

This is so tired. No one here supports the Iranian regime. Everyone here thinks they’re a net negative in the region. I know it’s difficult for some of you but it’s entirely possible to hold that belief while also questioning the pragmatism of the US being involved in this conflict, the administrations strategic grasp of their actual objectives and off-ramps, and believing firmly that killing kids is in fact a bad thing that the US military is unfortunately capable of.
“Derangement syndrome” isn’t questioning the official account and the propaganda morality. Derangement syndrome is contorting yourself into a grotesque parody of humanity in order to accommodate the bad actions and **** ups of your chosen political team.

It is being widely reported and multiple senators, like John Kennedy, are saying it’s true.
What does Hamas have anything to do with this? We are better than Iran, Hamas, and Isreal. We are the United States of America. We are the moral authority of the world.

46 Americans were killed and 12 Americans were taken hostage. Iran helped plan and fund it. They have plans to target the US. Even Gavin Newsom is worried about sleeper cells and drone attacks in CA. We have arrested Iranian agents for planned terror attacks in recent years. They tried to assassinate our president. They are closely allied with Russia and china.

That really has nothing to do with the current military operation so let’s stay on task.
All we're saying is we don't know the facts. Was it actually us, or a set up? Of course, I think a setup is a stretch, but not out of the question. If it was us, was it because of bad data, or did we miss a legit nearby target? Did we accidently swap no-go coordinates for target? There's a lot to unpack and we can't exactly get access to the site at the moment.
It’s not a stretch to suspect a regime that killed 7k to 30k (depending on where you get your figures) of its own people last month might have bombed one of their own schools to garner sympathy.
Not saying that’s what happened, but I need to see proof that it didn’t happen.
It is a horrible situation.

I’m leaning towards the latter.
I think yours is the more likely scenario, more likely perhaps even than a mistake related to outdated targeting data... Especially given that we have satellites that fly over that territory delivering high resolution imagery at will. But I digress. There's a lot we all still don't know. It's a terrible situation and I don't know why we keep pivoting back to this.
