Yep, not a ton of international talent there. But, Colon took out the Cuban, who is a defending world champion, Burroughs took out Franklin Gomez, MSU and trains at NLWC. Tough opponent. Snyder also has a tough Cuban in the finals. Does a gold medal here qualify the weight or wrestler for anything?

Any idea if In the 2020 cycle he’ll go up? 70 isn’t an Olympic weight, and 74 is JB or even dake. Can he make 65?

70 is already heavy for him. Plus doubt he wants to take on Dake/JB. Nothing is easy but 65 may be the better bet

I doubt it’s a hard cut. He says he doesn’t cut much for 149. Ideal weight but a lot of great wrestlers there. Zain, Jordan Oliver, Yianni, Frank Molinaro, McKenna, Eiermann.
