The DC was just hired in January. What am I missing here. If the allegation is that Fitz should have known about the hazing, shouldn’t the defensive coordinator and other coaches have known too?

In Pernetti's case, he did not want to minimize the situation - he actually wanted to can Rice, but university officials and lawyers to him that he could not do that. This all reminds me of former Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice and then AD Tim Pernetti.
Cases like these should be studied by athletic directors everywhere on how to handle these situations.
In both cases, the AD tried to minimize/reduce the penalty and ultimately financial losses. It backfired drastically and in turn, put pressure on the ADs themselves.
Lesson to be learned: fire the head coach immediately if abuse is involved. Stop the fire before it spreads.
It is only worse if you're in a large media market (NYC metro are and Chicago metro area). Lots of coverage.
Only White guys haze. Gotcha.
And they can't jump.
Achilles talent matters. And they can't jump.
I wholeheartedly recommend him.How about Chris Ash. I think he is available
so much wrong with this....Black Frats haze the worst, fax
Mac McClung would disagree... lolWell that's actually true. LOL.
What was the opening line?Looks like some sportsbooks moved the line to RU -6.5
he has complete knowledge as part of their hazing involved telling their pledges to go get that proud boy up here and this is what you have to do to him...lolso much wrong with this....
Poor guy. He’ll probably get three year salary and get to sit at home collecting it minus the 12 hour days. The guy’s laughing his a$$ off all the way to the bank. Go to college football games and pay your $5 for a bottle of water or $12 for a beer fools !
Doubt that stands. There will be a settlement. No "fired for cause" in that contract?
You’re clowning yourself
You are trying to have us believe that black frats don’t haze , which is not true, and you never explained why you believe so.
They need something to fill the air time when they skip the biden news.Made the PBS News Hour
just something of intreast to sports fans and PBS recognized that fact, others just look for politicians to complain about .They need something to fill the air time when they skip the biden news.
Greek letters are usually what is branded , which is claimed to be showing loyalty to their fraternityIs getting branded at a fraternity function hazing? Because I have two black friends who were branded by their fraternities.
Have you seen our recruiting class? Two four stars and the rest a group of really solid prospects with an excellent chance of contributing if not as starters, then as quality depth. Could anyone else have recruited such a class after 3 seasons of losing? I would venture to say No. Now it’s no longer a question of If, it’s a question of how soon is Rutgers going to win. We are firmly in the path to success. This year and next year don’t matter. 2025 is when we start competing for real.I assume under Al's logic Greg gets a free pass on this game since he has only had 3+ years to rebuild our program, while the new Northwestern coach will have had the luxury of less than 3 month to rebuild his program for the game.
Ok, I didn't realize they were all signed, for a minute there I was a little worried thinking they were just verbal commitments, and I don't need to remind a recruiting expert like yourself what little value a verbal commitment is from a 17 year old child is in today's world of college football.Have you seen our recruiting class? But muh rich traditions and strong esprit de corpsAnd a happier freshmen class.
Based on history, most will be signed. There are always a few that might be poached, but that goes with the territory.Ok, I didn't realize they were all signed, for a minute there I was a little worried thinking they were just verbal commitments, and I don't need to remind a recruiting expert like yourself what little value a verbal commitment is from a 17 year old child is in today's world of college football.
that's why only the HC was dumped.Based on history, most will be signed. There are always a few that might be poached, but that goes with the territory.
For similar reason?Baseball coach was just let go as well. Maybe B1G should swap NWestern for Vandy.![]()
For similar reason?
If so I'd say they have/had a pretty big issue there.
That’ll never hold up. It’ll go to court resulting in a “settlement”. He’ll get less than MSRP but he’ll get paid.No "fired for cause" in that contract?
Hey! Leave Vanderbilt alone! They are in the SEC and we need them! Their stadium sucks. Their fan support is next to nothing. But they are our SEC family!Baseball coach was just let go as well. Maybe B1G should swap NWestern for Vandy.![]()
