You forgot that Petrino has screwed more than just a volley ball player. You can throw most of his employers (Including Louisville) in the there also.

Care about what? Would you hire Joe Peterno if he were still in his prime? He was a better coach than Petrino and it's not close.
Someone would have hired him...in the sports world it is about results...just look at Greg Hardy for a prime example...
Plus, when Petrino left Louisville, Atlanta, and Arkansas he left a dumpster fire at each place. Once he starts coaching his own recruiting classes it goes down hill fast.

1. Atlanta went down due to Michael Vick issue.
2. We don't know about Arkansas for the simple reason it was abrupt and his replacement was John L.
3. Louisville returned 16 Starters off that Orange Bowl team...very well could place that on Kragthorpe...look at Louisville now...most of that offense is his players.
A better example would be James Franklin...even with the cloud of the Vanderbilt rape issue in his program Penn State still went after him and hired him even after the Joe Pa scandal...the reason was he won at Vandy
I'm being 100% honest here.....I've never met an opposing fan in person (and I go to probably 3 UK tailgates a year) who has a similar opinion on this whole "win at all costs" mentality as message board posters seem to have. But every UK fan I talk to just wants a winning football program and they don't care how they get it. I mean SEC football is probably the dirtiest thing in college athletics.
I've talked to hundreds of UK fans at UK games and they all hate Bobby Petrino but all say they would have no problem having him as their coach because of his ability to win yet when I get on message boards I see posters offended at the idea and I just don't get it.

In Atlanta you had the Dog Fighting issue and they were without their QB..As you know without your QB in that league you can't win...prime example is Dallas now without Romo-(0-5) or even back in the day with Manning out in Indy-(1-15)
He was fired in Arkansas in the Spring and I think after Spring Practice...kind of tough to threw together a team/coaching staff in the SEC West with that kind of abrupt change.
Kragthorpe was a bad fit...no way that team with that many returning starters should have went 6-6 in the old BIG EAST especially with 7 of those players off that team ending up with NFL Contracts with 3 still playing at a high level in Barnidge, Wood and Giacomoni.
The dirtiest thing in college sports is UL athletics. And it isn't even close.

I didn't say he did. I think as an athletic director its very difficult to claim to have "integrity" and maintain a highly competitive athletic department. I'm not naive enough to think that every major program in the country isn't doing things that the NCAA doesn't know about.
I've never been to a ceremony for a single program where they raised an integrity banner.
Did you watch last years game? I didn't know getting beat by 4 points was getting beat like a rented mule. There's no a single game that UL has won this year that UK couldn't win. And there's not a single game that UK has lost this year that UL couldn't have lost.
You're making a claim that every major program is cheating. I guess you have no choice but to hope that is true. It isn't. Some schools actually have good compliance offices and actually care doing their jobs with integrity. You don't get buttons for doing the right thing. It is expected at most schools. Clearly yours isn't one of them.

Yeah Tubby Smith is one of the best humans on the planet. Did great things for the state and city if Lexington. He didn't win enough games and got fired. Joker was a great guy as well, didn't produce wins got fired. If moral and character matter so much those guys should still be head coaches at university.
From a rivals point of view Stoops has updated the talent from the few uk plays I've watched. Honestly I thought this year it would translate into wins, but th season isn't over.

Let's see.... UNC is involved in the biggest academic scandal EVER. Miami is probably the dirtiest program of all time. Syracuse basketball is on NCAA probation. Louisville basketball is involved in one of the dirtiest scandals ever and about to be put on probation. NC State has a history of NCAA violations. Florida State? I don't think I need to say anything there.
But yeah, SEC football is sooooo dirty.
