I’ve scratched my head about the same thing. I think half of them still think they’re voting for Democrats from years ago. They think they’ve staked a claim to a moral high ground. They’re the most self righteous people on the planet, spending their time protesting and virtue signaling on social media. The other half are old union democrats (or union influenced). They’re “union” before any other thing in their lives and for many union equals democrat.

It would appear the early nature of the debate was to let the Dems, who knew they had been lying for years about Biden’s mental acuity and that they needed to replace him, have time to place him on display as a mentally damaged person before anointing Kamala as the candidate.

Oh I'm sure they will generate plenty of characters telling us that. but the beauty of it is that the right has access to the AI as well and can generate their own characters to counter it.
