I was only referring to offense doing the opposite. Defense has kept us competitive in most games, at least until it was clear the offense wasn't going to put points up for us.

Just clarifying
my bad, that post wasn't directed at you. i just found a fb related post and responded to it. sorry dude.

if you watch the film with van ... both the offense and defense was schemed perfectly. had UK kicked the FG on the first possession or in OT then it was a totally different game.

I do understand going for it on 4th and G only in this sense: there was no way in he11 that Texas was going to score a TD, the best they were going to do would be a FG. so if UK got the TD, then we win.

Or kicked a field goal and/or had a competent punt coverage team.... all such crazy thoughts and expectations
I dont fault them for going for it just bad play calling. Most teams have a play they practice everyday for that situation. Didn't like UK had practiced that. My question on the punt coverage is why you were kicking to that kid in the first place. He ran one back against Oklahoma and almost had another earlier in the game.

They were giving the underneath stuff and didnt bring a lot of pressure .
That's what good QB's do - take what is given by the D. We drove up & down the field.
UK still only scored 13 pts. Thats not going to win a lot of games.
True, but what's that got to do with the QB? That's on the coaching.
If the offense would have done anything at all they would have won in regulation.
The O did a lot. Look at the box score. Wasn't their idea to run it up the middle 4X is a row in OT.

The No Kings rally was a smashing success because I realized we aren't being ruled by a king today
They should have protested 3 years ago when it was obvious we had an old mannequin faking president while unelected bureaucrats played president and later would anoint Kamala without an election. Where were the “no kings” blue hairs then?

A guy walking down the beach noticed something strange in the water. He waded in to get it and it turned out to be a genies lamp.
He rubbed the sides and sure nuff a genie pops out granting him three wishes.

First wish, he wished he had tons of money, genie replied it's in your bank.
Second wish was for a knockout beautiful with a knockout bod, poof and there she was standing next to him
Third wish he stood there thinking then told the genie he wished his pud buddy would drag the sand, genie said no problem this one is easy
genie went poof and the man's legs were gone!

Please tip the barkeep and waiter on your way out.

Not apologizing, so you're making unfounded claim - per typical. Your assumption about non-elections is that Ukraine had an established stable democracy before this all started. It was a work in (slow?) progress before this crap happened. Call it what you want, but of course I support Z over Putin. Not at all hard.

I think you post just so your buddy Joe King can give you another "like" that you crave so much. Keep going so you can get some more to satisfy your needs. Keep it up, Joe.
What? Quit dodging. There is no reason in 2025 that Ukraine could not have an election. Its leader flies around the world on a regular basis. An election was not thwarted by the war but by that leader. Quit kissing Z’s Arse. This has nothing to do with Putin. Stop with the red herrings and man-up, Elaine. Your dancing is pathetic.

Ukraine needs some “no kings” rallies.

No need to apologize. Your take was good

I don't have a problem with going for it.

What I have a problem with (and don't take this personally, cause it's got nothing to do with anyone posting anything here) is the absolutely STUPID AND the completely ****ing FRUSTRATING, REPETITIVE IGNORANCE OF NOT ****ING CONTINUiNG to do things that PUT you IN POSITIONS and GIVE YOU OPPORTUNITIES to win these ****ING GAMES.

We didn't drive down the field by running the ball up the middle into a packed-in D in this game, just like we didn't have the chance to beat UGA (WHAT WAS IT?) 2 years ago by just throwing the ball on 3 straight downs, or would have beaten USC that year (or last?) .. We got into that position against Texas by balance and working the outside, stretching them sideline to sideline, and running the ball against UGA.

THEN WE ABANDONED THE GAMEPLAN AND WHAT THEIR D was GIVING us. OUR OC (or someone else) WENT FULL RETREAD AND STUCK THEIR OWN HEAD UP THEIR ***!

HOW MANY games have we abandoned what was working? How many series have we gone to prevent D on "X and LONG" and given up big plays and first downs? How many "X and SHORTs" have we abandoned what was working to try to go for just the sticks?

It's OK to pick up 8 yards on 3rd and 1. It's OK to throw over the top or hit a comeback route on 4th and 1. Why limit your options to plays that are only meant to pick up just what you need, when you've been gaining 3.5 yards per play? It's psychotic to aim for just 1 yard on every "X" and 1. YOU'RE STOPPING YOURSELF SHORT. YOUR LIMITING YOURSELF when the opponent hasn't been. It's the thinking OF A CHILD.

Run your offense. Run your defense. Score until they stop you. Stop making it easy on your opponent. Quit helping them. It reeks of fear and immaturity. It screams of a lack of discipline.

It tells your opponent that YOU don't believe in YOU. It tells them you don't believe you belong in the fight, and that you don't believe your can win.

So SICK of this ****

you have to at least wonder, or consider, if jab related:

lots of very young people dying suddenly

I haven't wondered since it killed people I knew and loved and relatives of those I know. Most of them conservative "coincidentally," while the liberals I know got it, just keep getting "covid" and making others sick around them. One person I know has now been sick with the same covid symptoms at least 5 times since the first jab and keeps getting more of them.

If this happens then how the hell does anyone still defend him? He has lost his way. This isn’t an endorsement for anyone on the left as they should never be near power again but this is inexcusable if it happens.
