Old man rant/you wanna know what grinds my gears:
Grocery stores have made it abundantly clear that they have ceased to care about walk in customers. In fact, I believe they look at them as a nuisance. It is extremely rare that they have more than two standard cashier lanes open. And if you go early in the morning or later at night, it's strictly U-Scan, which is an entirely separate set of issues. Their motive is to steer everyone towards the online ordering/pickup model.
This is extremely aggravating to me, because I don't WANT someone else picking out my items. It's rife with problems/substitutions/missing items, and frankly, I don't want someone else picking out my produce.
On that note, if you DO go into the store, navigating around the "pickers" makes it an absolute chore to get up and down the aisles.
