Our play against UConn on Saturday was extremely good, the best all season despite the loss, in my opinion.

This high level of play can set the stage for an incredible two week and beyond run.

This week we must defeat Xavier. That will be a tough game because they have a high-powered offense that plays better at home. We must run them off the 3 point line.

Then comes St. Johns on Friday. Beat the Johnnies and get us back into contention for an NCAA berth, in a year with a weak bubble.

Beat Creighton or whomever (please not Depaul!) in round 1 of the BET.

Upset Uconn? We can do it.

Then?

Of course, we could blow it again but i think this team has some more positive surprises in store for us.

This team could easily lose at Xavier tomorrow night despite the home game with them being the only game we won by double-digits in the BE. The margin in these games is always crazy thin. Can only go one game at a time with a team like this that has one good unit, one bad unit.

Saturday was encouraging. Xavier plays awful defense but shoots well at home.

Hopefully, business is taken care of, and you create some juice for Friday night. Seems lots of tickets left, lol.

Shooting streaks are a funny thing. You get on a roll and it can extend to more games. You get cold and it can last for a while. Let's hope confidence has been restored and we shoot the three well again against Xavier and beyond.
