It's all out of control. He redshirted at Texas Tech in 2019-20... When we had Willard and Powell winning the BE RS. Pre-COVID. He has been in school that long. He spent two seasons with Texas Tech, two with Oklahoma State, one with SMU, and was at Memphis without playing a game before trying Kansas State. This is a circus. It's crazy.

Not sure the details here, but if you played in 2020-21 weren't you granted an extra year? I guess they're saying that was burned with the RS year?

He would have turned 26 during the season this year! He's played 4 seasons in 6 years and was granted his Covid year last season at Memphis. However he quit the team in October during the 1st semester claiming Memphis didn't pay him his proper NIL payment (only $175k out of $500k).

Kansas State grabbed him as a transfer in January and said they were redshirting him to play his 5th Covid season in year 7 this coming season 25/26. NCAA said no, the Covid Waiver was for 24/25 and although he didn't play in any games he was paid NIL by 2 different schools so they are not allowing him another waiver. Good to see the NCAA have some spine. Will see what happens if the player decides to push it in the courts.
