Another team with 8 underclassmen and 3 foreign players much like RU. So will our very experienced team thrash them like we did RU? It will be very interesting.

They are not as talented as in the past. But they have a huge home court advantage and their offense is powerful.

My gut is this game goes down to the wire.

Yes but they have not experienced wire to wire pressure "D". Kansas State did not have a home court advantage as far as this SHU team was concerned. I'm optimistic that Providence will be at a disadvantage and being home will not matter. Plus with Godswill maybe able to play few minutes it is an added bonus.

Tricky game bc they have individual talent but are not putting it together. Fans are restless, there’s heat on English.

But we need to win games like this.

Coming off a tough road loss. How they respond will tell you much about the Friars. Many think they are poorly coached.

They're 7-5, 0-1 but two of those losses came in OT and both games were 100+ per team. They don't have a single good win.

They are 34th in OE, 153rd in DE. Yikes. But that's why their tempo is so good (22nd) because they get up shots quickly and can't defend anyone. They're 29th in offensive possession length, 180th in defensive possession length.

Good 3PT shooting team (84th in %), but not overly reliant on it (138th in ratio). Good FT shooting team (11th) but they do not get to the line much (253rd in ratio). Also good 2PT shooting team (46th), but balanced... See the trend?

Oswin Erhunmwunse ate our lunch in the post last year. That should be a very different story with Payne and Hines this time around, I hope. Jason Edwards bombs away.

It will be a great test for SHU's defense.
