Why not? Do you think he is more of a running QB like Gavin or is there no basis for this comment?
I thought he looked like a pretty good passer and is probably #2 so that means he is getting a chance.
The one place I don't trust Coach Schiano is evaluation of the quarterback position, he is so conservative and rigid, I feel he doesn't let the quarterbacks grow into the position though Gavin Winsatt did get enough time and was a bust
