So your source is in disagreement with the sources by others on this board
Don’t those posters say Payne is the highest paid NIL on the team?
Yea that’s great but I believe Dan has stated Payne is the highest paid NIL
Not looking to good down that rabbit hole again
but Halldan is the only person who has come out and said Payne is our highest paid player (although close to Clark and Hines) through one of his sources at the school.
No one else has stated they have a source that has refuted or supported that statement.
At this point I’ll accept that all 3 are rather similar. Personally surprised that Payne is getting that based on his tape / performance at Jacksonville last year.
Bottomline…I still think we are short of $6m as our total NIL expenditure for this season. I am not going to disparage specific players on the roster and say what I think they are getting paid individually.
but if we use Clark, Payne, and Hines making around $700k as the baseline and then tier the rest of the players from there based on their 2024-25 performance, I don’t believe it adds up to $6m. The math isn’t mathing to me.
If it truly is $6M, then the only way to get that high is for every player to be getting at least the minimum wage of $250,000.
Plus a handful of guys being in the $400-500k range.
like I said…I’m not going to put a number next to each individual name on this forum, but I have my notes and it doesn’t add up to be that high.
If anyone would like to take on that exercise I would love to see how you think we got to $6m.
