But what are we actually seeing from HCMR? Its ALWAYS in the middle of the field, problem with getting the play or players in, some discipline or execution issue. He ***** up and has to burn his timeouts.
Again you have no idea what happened anywhere but your living room. Does it suck to use a timeout when you don't think it is necessary? Of course but it not everytime is it a game management issue. Nebraska has been in a number of 1 score games over the past several years. One play has been the difference in many games, and that play isn't always in the 4th quarter with 5 minutes to go. I get more upset when he doesn't take points than I do with the timeouts. But if you look at the AFC title game, it should be tied, but Peyton decided to go when, in my opinion, taken the points.

Likewise.

But you need to make up your mind here.

You started off talking about maybe needing a timeout in a key situation. Make sure you like the call, the personnel, get a big stop on 4th and goal, so forth. I get that. That's in the abstract.

Im talking about the very specific dick-stepped-on examples authored by HCMR.

But you are free to hitch your wagon to this turd if you choose.

I am in fact telling you that there are times when you need to call a timeout in the first or third quarter. When that happens, it is not always bad game management. However, you and others act as though it is always bad game management. And complain every time a timeout is called because you believe you know what is going on in the huddle, in the booth, or wherever.

Wrong again. No sh*t there are appropriate times to take timeouts in the first and third quarter. Again, you’re just stating the obvious. Those moments are NOT what I and others are complaining about with regard to Rhule’s poor game management. Not even close. If you don’t know that, you either haven’t been watching games, haven’t been reading these boards, or know even less about football than I thought. Or a combination of of the 3. By all means, keep polishing your turd coach, though. It’s funny to watch you struggle.

They, you, complain every time. And you have no idea what caused the TO to be called. Not simply the play clock was running down, but did it take the WR coach so long to get the right set of WR, or did the TE coach put in the wrong TE for the formation they needed, did the DC tell Rhule this is going to go big based on the formation and the defense alignment.

It is just like you and the other guy who are writing that I am blindly agreeing with everything Rhule does because I don't believe that every timeout is a game management issue and Rhule's fault. You all are 100% against him as a coach to the point that you have lost all sense of objectivity when it comes to what he says and does. And if people are in lock step with your opinion then they are stupid for not seeing what a horrible coach he is. It is like dealing with middle school girls. If Mary likes Jessica then I can't be friends with Mary anymore.

And if those things cost timeouts, then they are systemic problems that Rhule is responsible for but has continuous failed to fix.

You do know all of the things you listed fall under poor game management, right? Well, actually, you probably don’t. But, hey thank you for making my point for me.

Seattle just drove down and got a TD in under one minute to end the half. Those 3 timeouts were crucial.

But, hey, its only the NFC championship game. What the hell do these guys know about football??
