RU Lax Ranked #17 This Week

RU has a huge opportunity vs OSU this weekend. A pedestrian OOC technically wasn't all doom and gloom as many thought. We have no bad losses (Every team who has beaten RU is at worst in the Top 15), but we don't have any signature/resume wins either. If we can find 3 B1G wins and maybe a Tourney win, we might get to the Promised Land after all.

Exactly what I have been saying and thinking.. We have been playing with one hand behind our back all season. Wins against top teams move you up, a loss to a top team, not so much. Top 12 end of season likely should get us in.

This was always the season. Even winning two more games, while helpful, wouldn’t change this fact. We need to do damage in the conference.

Not in this week"s media poll. They got votes but did not make the Top 20. I'm in total agreement about the need for a signature win.
