Agreed. This surprised me the same way we were favored by 5 or 6 over Michigan.
They are a good match up for us and we’ve had their number mostly lately and they don’t have All that much to play for
FAU wins. Hopefully a nice wakeup call for them heading into the CUSA tournament.
Line reflects that Northwestern has lost three games in a row and bettors believe RU is resilient?

You’d have us favored on a neutral court by 2-3 points? We’ve lost 5 of 7. One of those losses was to the worst power 5 teams in the country. We’ve lost our last two at home. One was to Nebraska. A game we were favored by 12. The line makes no sense. Vegas can’t figure us out

Losing as a 12 point favorite is not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things. It's like 10%, happens all the time.
I didn’t say it was rare. Regardless, no way we should be favored by 5 in this game. The line makes no sense. I said the same thing about the Nebby and Michigan lines. Too bad we can’t bet on NJ teams in Nj, because those games were easy money. Maybe I’m wrong here, but that’s my gut reaction. Take or it leave it, I don’t care.

Home teams usually get a three point advantage.In this game both teams have been losing games as the league schedule ends.
Reading the emotionality from the doom crew and closet Seton Hall fans has that affect. Not necessarily on you, but on this board in general.
I think our team will recover well. A senior night win to celebrate our National DPOY would be a lot of fun!

If you are correctly able to ferret out lines that make “no sense” (presumably this means off by multiple points?) you should be richer than you are. Try using your superpowers on non-NJ teams.

Another poster who can’t read. I said even if we lost our last 3 (not 4) we still have a chance to make the tournament. Never said it was a lock and just argued with people that said it was impossible. Is reading really this difficult?
I’m sure the guy who thinks Rutgers being -5 at home vs NW was fine with Rutgers being +1 at wisky. No need to pretend you thought that was fine.

Btw, you’re actually proving my point then by bringing up Wisky and PSU if you think those lines were off. That means Nebby, Umich, Wisky, PSU, and Minny lines were all off and the underdog covered in all of our last 5 games.
I never said any line was off. I’m saying if you thought the home lines were off then you also def thought the road lines were off. Understand now? Glad I could clear that up.
He only thinks the home lines were off because those are the ones where we underperformed the line, obviously. He also had some strong feelings about Microsoft stock in 1986, I am sure.

I brought up the only two home lines since the Mag injury that were off because we were home f’ing favorites giving too many points just like we’re home favorites today. Wtf is your problem.
