I guess you’re one of those who likes losing games. I like winning games. Having our QB sacked twice in 3 plays, one for a fumble, doesn‘t look like a winning formula.
You really believe we were on a path to winning before that?

Rushing: 29 attempts for 73 yards and a fumble
Passing: 12 attempts for 100 and a fumble.

I'll pick the latter personally.

PSU is tenth in defense nationally, and first in rushing defense. This was always going to be tall order.
Agreed, but even when RU keeps a TE in to block, PSU still gets home. There's schemes and then there's technique. Seems the last few weeks Rutgers is lacking in both.

I think winning was always going to be an uphill battle. And yeah, I think being able to run was our path to having a chance to win. Just as it has been in every game this year.

I might not like the way this game is going, but no matter how it winds up: I'm proud that this team has already qualified for a bowl game and feel it will be a program that will continue to qualify .
I just hope RU can become better than that and be one of the best of the B1G .

These announcers are terrible.

I synched the RU radio broadcast .

Sooooo much better

I mean the game is a little frustrating but the announcers put it over the top.

Just so much better now listening to “our guys” rather than a national broadcast crew that is supposed to be neutral but were from it

Now were forced to be one dimensional anyway.

I just don’t see why we don’t even try to win games. We are bowl eligible, it’s not like were trying to win the division here.

I’ve been saying this for weeks.
Apparently passing more in games doesn’t lead to development according to the experts.

Schiano better spend every second of the offseason looking for portal WR, TE and OL

No. Winning formula is to outscore the opponent. Number of points scored combined is irrelevant.

The problem is it is irresponsible to expect the defense to limit the other team to under 20pts.

That is an unrealistic expectation and strategy.
The baseline offense strategy needs to be to score 20pts in every game.
