I don’t know about that like I said that seems to be the thing these days. Sounds like Walters did the same against NW today twice. I’ve commented on it often in the games threads over the season. It’s just the way coaches are now and somehow are more willing to give up easy points. I think it should be play it by ear depending on the situation but seems more like they lean hard into analytics.

Another great series of offensive football. You just can't continue to expect your defense to carry the load. Yes the score is still 10-6 but it seems pretty obvious that unless the PSU offense helps us we are not going to scoring a TD. That deep ball throw would have had more of shot on first down
