On the TD, Austin did what we have been calling our DBs to do all year - play the ball instead of the man. Problem is, he did it really poorly.

...just want to see guys like Gause get a win today.
Yup and PJ too. Of course, we won't score this drive because we're turtling...run, run, run. We aren't even confident enough to throw on 3rd down against Army.

EDIT: drive saved by roughing the passer

Austin made 3 horrible plays in one: horrible defensing of the pass, which could've easily been knocked down, then horrible laziness in just watching Poe start running away, and then horribly weak tackling at the end of the run. Simply horrible.
Yes. This will be replayed several times on film day.

We have a terrible passing game, why are we not running it every down?

Do we now understand why Agudosi doesn't have the confidence of the coaches??

Rutgers offense in hibernation with 12 minutes to go in the game.Rutgers leads 31-21 but hanging on by a loose thread.

The refs had a play go to the replay booth. Both Carlin and Lucas thought it was a waste of time. After the call was confirmed, Ray Lucas said, "Even Helen Keller could have seen that." He quickly apologized for the comment.
Thanks for the Carlin/Lucas updates. Keep 'em coming

Wow our D really sucks. Can't stop the 3rd string QB who has never played before and another horrible play by a DB.
