Both huge rebuilds and in a lot of ways Ash made Schiano 2 even more difficult.
We are on schedule - buckle up.
We are on schedule - buckle up.
By the time that schedule rolls around I’ll be too old to drive, either way I’ll be a happy camper if RU ever gets back to being ranked in the top 20 again , I just don’t see that happening with GS’s offensive game day philosophy .Both huge rebuilds and in a lot of ways Ash made Schiano 2 even more difficult.
We are on schedule - buckle up.
I am guessing you were not around for Schiano 1? We are actually ahead of schedule.By the time that schedule rolls around I’ll be too old to drive, either way I’ll be a happy camper if RU ever gets back to being ranked in the top 20 again , I just don’t see that happening with GS’s offensive game day philosophy .
so wittyWhat’s more conservative :
Schiano Offensive Strategy or President Ronald Reagan ?
And 5 years later he hadn't matched let alone exceeded that success. Maybe he's synched with galactic time.I remember that after the 06 Louisville game Schiano said the program's success came "a little sooner" than he expected.
Greg is synced with geological time.
So you are saying you are a Coach Prime fan. How is that working out?The comparison between 1 and 2 is stupid. Transfer portal has changed the timeline.
It's season one for him and you're already claiming failure? They've won 4 games versus 1 last year. I'd say that's a big improvement. So you are saying you are a Coach Prime fan. How is that working out?
omg you are delusionalBoth huge rebuilds and in a lot of ways Ash made Schiano 2 even more difficult.

well Reagan defeated communism and Greg can't beat Wisconsin so no matter what you think, Reagan wins hands downWhat’s more conservative :

Yes I was , & at that time just hearing him talking was very inspiring, if I had still been playing football at that time I would have ran through a brick wall for him , I was also at the Louisville game with a badly herniated disc, actually had tears in my eyes driving home being so happy for the RU program & it’s players , but the problem is times and the game of football has changed but GS’s offensive philosophy has not , it’s just too predictable when it doesn’t have to be.I am guessing you were not around for Schiano 1? We are actually ahead of schedule.
You are embarrassing yourself. Hate can do that.Yes I was , & at that time just hearing him talking was very inspiring, if I had still been playing football at that time I would have ran through a brick wall for him , I was also at the Louisville game with a badly herniated disc, actually had tears in my eyes driving home being so happy for the RU program & it’s players , but the problem is times and the game of football has changed but GS’s offensive philosophy has not , it’s just too predictable when it doesn’t have to be.
Reality will do that to you , I don’t hate anyone my friend. You are embarrassing yourself. Hate can do that.
Please tell me you are kidding with that lame attempt to defend your silly position that reliance on the transfer portal is the answer. Facts: Iowa vs Colorado. Patience is a virtue. The transfer portal will fill gaps - it will never build a program. But for people that need immediate gratification enjoy yourself. It's season one for him and you're already claiming failure? They've won 4 games versus 1 last year. I'd say that's a big improvement.
Yes you do. Instead of looking at the facts of Greg 1 vs Greg 2 you just don’t want to wait. Kind of like a child.Reality will do that to you , I don’t hate anyone my friend.
Thanks for making my point. Much Appreciated.omg you are delusional
log off, don't come back, stop making excuses
our issue is Greg sucks, our qb sucks
Not making a prediction but USC led by Lincoln Riley is much easier than PSU, Ohio State or Michigan.I think people will be suprised how much the schedule next year and beyond will make a difference.
Talent and depth wise .. PSU Mich and OSU are on a different level from even Washington USC UCLA .
I like what next season could be around here.
Not making a prediction but USC led by Lincoln Riley is much easier than PSU, Ohio State or Michigan.
USC and UCLA are more like Wisconsin but not quite Iowa, not in terms of style, but overall "beatability." But UW is right up there with top tier B1G teams.I agree. Much more upset prone . PSU OSU AND Mich have been near perfect in conference for the last 4 years except for losing to each other.
It hasn’t changed the timeline because we don’t have access to the best portal players due to lack of support. We can land under the radar kids who can assist on defense. We haven’t been able to use the portal to similarly boost the offense, though Jackson has at least provided us something. The comparison between 1 and 2 is stupid. Transfer portal has changed the timeline.
When the 3 best teams left our division Greggie got better, big deal he had zero wins against them. If anyone thinks he will seek a QB, Offensive lineman, and a wide receiver withYes I was , & at that time just hearing him talking was very inspiring, if I had still been playing football at that time I would have ran through a brick wall for him , I was also at the Louisville game with a badly herniated disc, actually had tears in my eyes driving home being so happy for the RU program & it’s players , but the problem is times and the game of football has changed but GS’s offensive philosophy has not , it’s just too predictable when it doesn’t have to be.
Talk about a lame attempt to defend a silly position. It's season one. He turned the team around. How far remains to be seen. I doubt the transfer portal is the sole answer but it's a start, though I seem to recall Bill Snyder used to do pretty well with a lot of Juco players.
My thoughts exactly.I'm just not seeing it
He still coaches extremely conservative, not to lose, and refuses to open up the offense or allow any creativity
I thought he'd learn from the first time, but he is who he is
Grateful for all he's done, but I've resigned myself to the fact that he's never changing
agree plus UCLA loses some of their key contributors this year (I believe I read that)USC and UCLA are more like Wisconsin but not quite Iowa, not in terms of style, but overall "beatability." But UW is right up there with top tier B1G teams.
All of them except UCLA lose their qbs. Nix, Penix and Williams are gone but the OCs or HCs of those teams have track records of doing well with multiple qbs in their careers so we’ll see.agree plus UCLA loses some of their key contributors this year (I believe I read that)
psu, osu, mich are far harder hills imho
didn't need the west, could have had 8 this seasonIf you really think about things- if this Rutgers team is in the west we could have had a good shot to be at 8 wins. We play in the B1G East with 3 top 10 type teams...
The whining I hear from fans just sucks.
BTW- GS 1.0 from 05-09 pretty much around 30 pts per game. I believe we saw Teel and Savage air it out a time or two as well.
At some schools. Did you see the poll about do you contribute to NIL?The comparison between 1 and 2 is stupid. Transfer portal has changed the timeline.
Don’t all the coaches coach not to lose (aka coach to win)?I'm just not seeing it
He still coaches extremely conservative, not to lose, and refuses to open up the offense or allow any creativity

Can we stop making believe that every transfer comes with a 6 figure price tag. You guys make it like every school is throwing around millions of dollars. At some schools. Did you see the poll about do you contribute to NIL?
I’ve said similar in the past and not only that but the numbers out on the public arena aren’t always trustworthy. I’ve posted articles about that too.Can we stop making believe that every transfer comes with a 6 figure price tag. You guys make it like every school is throwing around millions of dollars.
Why would you leave now, after finally becoming respectable again for the first time since 2014 instead of having left well before then? Makes zero sense to me.When the 3 best teams left our division Greggie got better, big deal he had zero wins against them. If anyone thinks he will seek a QB, Offensive lineman, and a wide receiver with
his early picks is delusional. He is going defense.
Well it Looks like I am giving up my season tickets after 30 years, can't take him anymore.
True if we are not competing against OSU, Mich or PSU. PSU can’t beat OSU and Mich with all their star players. Can we stop making believe that every transfer comes with a 6 figure price tag. You guys make it like every school is throwing around millions of dollars.
In last week's press conference Schiano stated that the offense run today may not be the same as you run in the future. He basically stated that we don't have the personnel to go balls to the wall, "know who you are". And right now we are a ball control defensive team. Eat the clock, limit the turnovers, control the line. In order to win this team has to play perfect ball and can't over come mistakes. Once we have more depth and skilled position players then you can open it up and start slinging it around.I'm just not seeing it

I'm thinking "Dixon" who has been a 5* type player for us- did not have a huge price tag.Can we stop making believe that every transfer comes with a 6 figure price tag. You guys make it like every school is throwing around millions of dollars.
