It's the Bury era.![]()
Its not the yelling that people have a problem with, its the fact he shoved the kid. You can't physically intimidate your players in this day and age.Am I missing something or is this just more pussification of sports/culture? Aw the coach yelled at you? Boo 17ing hoo. Slow news day at ESPN gotta generate a story I guess.

Yes. He wanted the job at MSU. He is a damn good coach and America has been pussified.
People also aren't making the point that the player mouthed back to Woods and bumped into him. That's when woods lost it. I guess that's ok in this society where the kids tell the parents what the 17 is up.
This isn't the first time that Woods has gotten physical with a player. He demands respect and his players listen. Some of you have never played sports and seen some of the things that go on. Yes, shoving a player isn't necessarily right, but he knows who can handle it and who cannot. Bobby Knight does this 30 years ago and it's a non-story. The self entitlement society and babying everyone and let's give them a pill to fix their attitude society says that this is a huge issue.
I'm surprised that some old-school coach hasn't tried some sort of physical intimidation...and promptly got his *** kicked. Its not the yelling that people have a problem with, its the fact he shoved the kid. You can't physically intimidate your players in this day and age.
Not once did that kid stop and look Woods in the eye and listen, not once. He kept walking away and mouthing off. You can see that kind of "berating" on the sidelines of practically any football game on any given Saturday too. As for the so called shove, if that's a shove then the pussification continues, grow up or go home and take your "participation trophies" with you.
