College Basketball Analytics has SH #24 Overall, 2nd in Big East.
Our Team Shot Chart has some interesting aspects. The Red Spots are where we are above the D1 Average and the Blue denotes below D1 Average. The Darker the color the more extreme.
In the Paint and in the MidRange, we shoot far better from the right side of the court. Much of this has to do with Clark who has always been far better shooting his jumpers when attacking from the right side. But ironically, we are far better from 3 on the other side of the court. Both AJ and Mike Williams shoot much better from the left and I think Clark is more apt to pass to that side of the floor and look for his own shot on the other end.
We shoot 41.3% from 3 on the left, 36.0% from the top of the key and 24.6% from 3 on the right.
Our 61.4% finish rate at the Rim is slightly below average but we get 39.3% of our total FG attempts at the Rim which is in the top 91% of D1 teams.
