SHU at SJU

It looks like it'll be a rout on paper. They're playing so well and found themselves, we've lost ourselves on offense. However, it's got juice. This is a big time opportunity for us. We're doubted again, we've played like crap with the ball, could be a good way to lock in? At least that's the hope.

1) I think SHU can make this competitive. This could be a trap game for SJU.
2) Seton Hall Bench can put up more points than SJU bench on most nights.
3) I'm not sure SHU can shoot worse than they have from three.
4) Playing on the road may be a good thing. Don't expect an electric atmosphere after the long weekend at MSG.
There should be "some" Hall fans in the building.
5) Playing at Madison Square Garden, a first for some of the players may elevate their focus.
6) Sha's Practice on Monday????????
I don't predict a win, but the key is to shut down one of the two SJU Big men. Having one of them in foul trouble would be a good thing. SJU can flat out score, so The Hall have to find a way at least into the 70's. That would produce a close game with SHU having a chance. Have to keep SJU at 26 or less made FG's. Conversely, Hall cannot have a 19 made FG night. Finish the plays and convert, convert and convert.

I actually think St John’s is a tougher matchup for us than Uconn
I think we see the totally engaged Sha tonight. Would not be a bad thing to get a first half T if necessary. Can't let the refs over officiate. Have to call it both ways. Most important that The Hall put up 30-35 first half points to have any chance.
Sju has played much better since Kentucky game. Feel like they have worn teams out in 2nd half. Not sure how deep they are.
If we don't go on a long dry spell on offense to end the first half, feel we can make this competitive.
