I was never sold on Dar being our "sniper" 3pt shooter....

Dar is second on the team in blocks and 7 for 7 at the free throw line. Only attempted 7 three pointers. So not a lot to make out of it. He does not see a lot of playing time as his minutes are about the same as Felton and Parker so he may be pressing a bit. I liked what I have seen so far. Areas he can improve? Sure but I think he can contribute given his size and length!

Agreed. I never said he can't contribute. I simply said I don't think he's a good three-point shooter.

Give em time to get settled. We also dont need 3 pt production from dar. I love how hes active athletic and hits the glass

Team shooting 33% from 3 but the guys you want taking 3s are all shooting over 40%. That really helps Payne and Hines and opens up the driving lanes.

And we’re still only 332nd in 3PA:FGA, 333rd in % of points from 3. It’s never been a focal point of a Shaheen Holloway offense (was a weak area for him as a player too).

it would make life much easier if we could even just be average though. Tough chasing 3’s with 2’s all the time in this day and age.
