Siena played all 5 starters all 40 minutes against Duke today. Sha might’ve suffered a heart attack if he watched.
You gotta spell your premium guys around media timeout windowsLook how they played in the 2nd half.....exhausted
The last 6 minutes of the game they ran out of gas .Look how they played in the 2nd half.....exhausted
I have no clue about their personnel to have an educated view on whether it was a smart move, or not, but him playing that type of competitive game against Duke is definitely a "good look" for someone in his position.Give a little rest to your starters and Siena might have won . Not a good look for GMAC when you are looking to move up .
Did you watch it? They played the entire game. They were gassed the last few minutes and lost the game at least partially because of it. Didn't take a nobel laureate to see that.I’ve always found this rest for players is insane. First, they’re YOUNG men. Second, they’re great athletes. Third, they get a blessed time out every 4 minutes. Fourth, there are other timeouts that a team uses in addition to every 4 minutes. Stop the BS exhausted excuse. Play your best players and stop giving YOUNG men excuses and blaming coaches because they’re “exhausted”
Willard was excellent at thisYou gotta spell your premium guys around media timeout windows
I did. They lost a lead midway through the second half to a far superior team. Not because young men played too long. Clearly you didn’t play competitive sports at a young age. Fatigue was never an excuse. Being a Nobel Laureate might be the though. Good point.Did you watch it? They played the entire game. I think they went 6 deep at maac title gameI have no clue about their personnel to have an educated view on whether it was a smart move, or not, but him playing that type of competitive game against Duke is definitely a "good look" for someone in his position.

It's not just go run up and down the court. It's keep up with another great athlete. If the other athlete is getting a few breaks and you're not, eventually that other great athlete is fresher. It doesn't matter the sport, great athletes slow down at some point. You can give 100% all game but your 100% at the beginning of the game and 100% at the end of the game is often different. I can't wait to watch a hockey game with no line changes.I’ve always found this rest for players is insane. First, they’re YOUNG men. Second, they’re great athletes. Do you live in the world of make believe where somehow because they get paid they are now no longer subject to exhaustion?Oh, and the amount of stoppages for these stupid foul calls and official checks on did we make the right call. Add in a guy fouls out and we huddle for 2 minutes to be sure everyone will be ok Yeah, take my world class athlete that I pay stupid money and make sure he doesn’t get too tired or we might lose. Wtf!
At the same time, the number of 16 seeds who hang with 1 seeds for 36 minutes isn't very high. He did better than most.It isn’t rocket science to think that kids that gets breaks and rest are going to have more explosive power, quicker reactions and faster responses—not to mention clarity with mental decisions.
It was so egregious during the end of that game with the break aways for Duke
He only had 7 scholarship players available..2 bench players were freshman..what was he supposed to doIt isn’t rocket science to think that kids that gets breaks and rest are going to have more explosive power, quicker reactions and faster responses—not to mention clarity with mental decisions.

I get it. I’m not saying Mac made bad decisions—I’m just saying fatigue was the difference that game. Too many injuries for this team.He only had 7 scholarship players available..2 bench players were freshman..what was he supposed to do
Yes sir Donnie. And I never wanted out or a break. Now it’s just golf which I can’t figure out how it feels like a contact sport after a round these days.Clearly, the last time you played competitive sports WAS at a young age.
