I did not see him at the Rutgers game. Usually he is suited up in warmups like Godswill. I know he suffered with a separated shoulder that keeps him. He had several good games at West Virginia when he was there, so I hope he can remain with the team. He can certainly help us at the power forward position off the bench.Does anyone know if Suemnick has left the team?
If so, could he be immediately eligible to join another school’s roster and play this season because he’s a graduate transfer?
Rivera does not give much offensively. Was 0-4 v K State. But, he also had 6 rebounds in 10 minutesOne of the vulnerable areas this team has had is foul trouble with bigs. It's never good when Rivera has to come in.
You'd think someone with Suemnick's experience in the Big 12 would be an upgrade if he has to come in at PF/C, but who knows. He was basically a 12-15 MPG player off the bench at WVU + Oklahoma State.
Yeah, but being on the official roster and not playing, not sure he could transfer now and be eligible to play for another team in late January. But so many changes, you never know.Yes, in NCAA Division I basketball, a graduate student who has earned their bachelor's degree can transfer and be immediately eligible to play at another school, provided they meet academic requirements like being in good standing and enrolling full-time in a graduate program; they generally must enter the transfer portal during designated windows to be eligible for immediate play. This is thanks to NCAA rule changes allowing for immediate eligibility for first-time transfers, and similar provisions for grad transfers, making it a common path for players with eligibility left.
No, especially not playing for half the season. Why would anyone assume he would leave? He wouldn't get minutes at PF here?
I may be wrong but I think the question was being asked hypothetically as an effort to understand NCAA rules in that potential situation. Why would anyone assume he would leave? He wouldn't get minutes at PF here?
When Rivera came into rutgers game gall was up 4. Leads went to 14 when he was ini think rivera can help. and would like suemnick too. wonder what his story is.
getting godswill back is terrific. but a 6'9 pf off the bench would be nice to have
So no as there is no current transfer portal window for basketball.Yes, in NCAA Division I basketball, a graduate student who has earned their bachelor's degree can transfer and be immediately eligible to play at another school, provided they meet academic requirements like being in good standing and enrolling full-time in a graduate program; they generally must enter the transfer portal during designated windows to be eligible for immediate play. Correct, I’m genuinely curious. Because he hasn’t appeared in a game for us and is a graduate student - was wondering if he could enroll at another school for the spring semester and become immediately eligible to play.I may be wrong but I think the question was being asked hypothetically as an effort to understand NCAA rules in that potential situation.
a few are somewhat down on the guy , but that's a great stat, coming into a game at a specific point and making everybody else better. i'll take it. Sha saw something in this young man. Fun team to likeWhen Rivera came into rutgers game gall was up 4. Leads went to 14 when he was in
One thing he does well if you watch is position himself well...
He looks very strong, i’ll give him that. If he accepts a role as a bruiser and nothing else maybe he’ll earn more minutes. Not sure there’s much else to his game here. When Rivera came into rutgers game gall was up 4. Leads went to 14 when he was in

Last year that wasn't possible without a solid post presence, but this year especially with Hines who should be unmovable, I am also hoping we can develop that. It will take our offense to the next level.I wish we'd play more inside outside in the halfcourt
