I replied to this part of it. Should have removed the first part.

Yes, 9% is bad but that was three years ago and most of us understand how it happened.
What makes that ********? I acknowledged that we had 9% inflation 3 years ago and we understand how it happened. What's wrong with that statement?

Biden Eggs ~$5 per dozen due inflation and gov mandated culling.
Today $1.96 @ Aldi.

Milk ~$3.50 before Trump
Now $2.76 or $2.46 I cant quite remember @ Aldi.

Gas near $3.50 under Biden now $2.43 @ BJs Wholesale.

Beef through the roof and part of why Trump bailed out Argentina. Hopefull the beef shortage and be aliviated and prices brought down. I paid $5.96 @ food lion tonight with MVP. Claim is screwworms in Mex and shortage of cattle in USoA.

Overall I have seen a significant reduction in prices on most items since Trump election. I also shop sales and there seem to be more deals now than last year.

I shop Aldi, Walmart, Sams, Costoco, and BJs.

The brain impacted libtards are living in a state of cognitive dissonance and gloss over any facts that do not feed their TDS.
Facts show you have an accused child rapist as your avatar and have the audacity to claim others live in a state of cognitive dissonance. I always chuckle at the low IQ's that pretend to be educated. Especially when they expose themselves in glorious fashion.

Thank goodness Biden fixed Trumps unemployment he passed to him. He got unemployment way down.
I see what you are implying, but I just disagree. Biden admin policies were highly inflationary. He had 3 years to bring prices down and knew the economy and inflation were the biggest issue in the election and he still couldn’t get it to levels that satisfied voters.

Inflation is still above target level right now under Trump. IMO voters want it lower and he needs to work on it.

Don't read too much into it. All the other races were in solidly Democratic states and it truely would have been an upset if a Republican won. Would have gotten a better read if some purple states had governor or mayor elections.
This was nothing more than a morale boost. Every race they won they were favored. I don’t understand how this is being misconstrued as some type of rebellion against the right. They won an election in NY, NJ, VA and CA, so what. All of those bites blue in 2024, less than a year ago, of course democrats won. These are off year races in democratic strongholds. Nothing to see here.

Democrats won in heavily democratic states such as NY, NJ, CA, and VA.

If they had lost any of those it would have been a huge upset. Maybe Va is purple. Maybe.

You want to say inflation was and is an issue, no arguments, want to say you feel Biden’s policies were inflationary, again no issues with the opinion at all. But want to act like 9% was in a standard, no other reason vacuum, I’m always going to point out Trump’s unemployment number that also wasn’t in a vacuum.

If they would’ve lost one of those races they could’ve just shut the whole thing down. That’s how concerned they were. They were willing to keep millions of government employees from getting paid so they can energize their base. It worked but to what extent and at what cost. Do you think real moderates are watching Chuck Schumer and the leftists and thinking they want to hitch themselves to that? Absolutely not. Normal Americans, middle class workers do not agree with them.

Walmart’s 2025 Thanksgiving Dinner Cost

Walmart’s annual Thanksgiving meal basket for 2025 is their most affordable yet, priced at under $40 total (approximately $39.92 before tax) to serve 10 people—or less than $4 per person. This marks a significant drop from last year’s price of under $50 (about $7 per person), driven by lower turkey costs and Walmart’s value-focused sourcing. The bundle includes a 13.5-pound Butterball turkey (priced at 97 cents per pound) and 15 classic items for a full feast, such as stuffing, sides, rolls, and pumpkin pie ingredients. It’s available for one-click ordering online via Walmart’s website or app, with pickup or delivery options through December 25 (free express delivery for first-time customers).

What’s Included in the Standard Basket

Here’s the complete list of items in the traditional meal basket:

Additional Meal Options

Walmart also introduced expanded “one-click” baskets this year:

  • Gluten-Free Thanksgiving Meal: Full spread with gluten-free alternatives, around $50 for 10 people.
  • Balanced Thanksgiving Swaps: Healthier options like high-protein mac & cheese and cauliflower mash, about $30 for 10.
  • Prime Rib Meal Basket: Features Choice Angus beef, salad, potatoes, and wine as a turkey alternative, just over $30.

Comparison to National Average

For context, the American Farm Bureau Federation estimated the average cost of a classic Thanksgiving dinner for 10 at $58.08 in 2024—making Walmart’s deal a notable saver, especially with turkey prices down to their lowest since 2019.

If you’re shopping, no Walmart+ membership is required, but it unlocks perks like free unlimited delivery. Prices may vary slightly by location, so check Walmart’s site for exact totals.
My wife's immune system went to **** 20+ years ago. It took forever to have the gluten problem brought to light. Walmart's gluten free meal is a little under $50. Any deal you go with is a slam dunk IMO. Walmart hit a freaking Grand Slam. Thanks to whomever brought it up!!
