honestly, seems like a good deal even at $50Yeah looks like they have a specific meal package that they priced at $50 last year, and is $40 this year.
Wtf are you referring to?LOL that you think it's because the ingredients are cheaper.
I replied to this part of it. Should have removed the first part. You responded to this.
What makes that ********? I acknowledged that we had 9% inflation 3 years ago and we understand how it happened. What's wrong with that statement?I replied to this part of it. Should have removed the first part.
Yes, 9% is bad but that was three years ago and most of us understand how it happened.
Im saying the Walmart Thanksgiving basket isnt 25% cheaper because the cost of those foods have come down. Aldi has the same promo and Walmart wanted to match it.Wtf are you referring to?
That’s a given with this Uof tech gradYou are a moron if you believe that s h 1 t.
Your understanding is not correct. Yall blame it on covid solely which is incorrect. The China virus is on the commie dems anyway. What makes that ********? I acknowledged that we had 9% inflation 3 years ago and we understand how it happened. What's wrong with that statement?
That's called open market competition which Trump is facilitating.....duh.Im saying the Walmart Thanksgiving basket isnt 25% cheaper because the cost of those foods have come down. Aldi has the same promo and Walmart wanted to match it.
Tylenol it is!You got nothing butt head. Im totally serious you retarded commie.
Facts show you have an accused child rapist as your avatar and have the audacity to claim others live in a state of cognitive dissonance. I always chuckle at the low IQ's that pretend to be educated. Especially when they expose themselves in glorious fashion. The brain impacted libtards are living in a state of cognitive dissonance and gloss over any facts that do not feed their TDS.

And Trump has kept it down while also keeping inflation down.Thank goodness Biden fixed Trumps unemployment he passed to him. He got unemployment way down.
I see what you are implying, but I just disagree. Biden admin policies were highly inflationary. He had 3 years to bring prices down and knew the economy and inflation were the biggest issue in the election and he still couldn’t get it to levels that satisfied voters.Thank goodness Biden fixed Trumps unemployment he passed to him. He got unemployment way down.
This was nothing more than a morale boost. Every race they won they were favored. I don’t understand how this is being misconstrued as some type of rebellion against the right. They won an election in NY, NJ, VA and CA, so what. All of those bites blue in 2024, less than a year ago, of course democrats won. These are off year races in democratic strongholds. Nothing to see here.Don't read too much into it. All the other races were in solidly Democratic states and it truely would have been an upset if a Republican won. Would have gotten a better read if some purple states had governor or mayor elections.
Modern liberalism is feminine. White, liberal women have an abundance of suicidal empathy. It’s gross and unfortunate. There’s a ton on this very board.

You want to say inflation was and is an issue, no arguments, want to say you feel Biden’s policies were inflationary, again no issues with the opinion at all. But want to act like 9% was in a standard, no other reason vacuum, I’m always going to point out Trump’s unemployment number that also wasn’t in a vacuum.I see what you are implying, but I just disagree. Biden admin policies were highly inflationary. He had 3 years to bring prices down and knew the economy and inflation were the biggest issue in the election and he still couldn’t get it to levels that satisfied voters.
Inflation is still above target level right now under Trump. IMO voters want it lower and he needs to work on it.
Biden purposely allowed our country to be invaded by third world immigrants. He allowed millions to be put in welfare. They’re voting. That imo overshadows everything he did. Everything. And now we know why.Thank goodness Biden fixed Trumps unemployment he passed to him. He got unemployment way down.
If they would’ve lost one of those races they could’ve just shut the whole thing down. That’s how concerned they were. They were willing to keep millions of government employees from getting paid so they can energize their base. It worked but to what extent and at what cost. Do you think real moderates are watching Chuck Schumer and the leftists and thinking they want to hitch themselves to that? Absolutely not. Normal Americans, middle class workers do not agree with them.Democrats won in heavily democratic states such as NY, NJ, CA, and VA.
If they had lost any of those it would have been a huge upset. Maybe Va is purple. Maybe.
My wife's immune system went to **** 20+ years ago. It took forever to have the gluten problem brought to light. Walmart's gluten free meal is a little under $50. Any deal you go with is a slam dunk IMO. Walmart hit a freaking Grand Slam. Thanks to whomever brought it up!!Grok
Walmart’s 2025 Thanksgiving Dinner Cost
Walmart’s annual Thanksgiving meal basket for 2025 is their most affordable yet, priced at under $40 total (approximately $39.92 before tax) to serve 10 people—or less than $4 per person. This marks a significant drop from last year’s price of under $50 (about $7 per person), driven by lower turkey costs and Walmart’s value-focused sourcing. The bundle includes a 13.5-pound Butterball turkey (priced at 97 cents per pound) and 15 classic items for a full feast, such as stuffing, sides, rolls, and pumpkin pie ingredients. It’s available for one-click ordering online via Walmart’s website or app, with pickup or delivery options through December 25 (free express delivery for first-time customers).

- Balanced Thanksgiving Swaps: Healthier options like high-protein mac & cheese and cauliflower mash, about $30 for 10.
- Prime Rib Meal Basket: Features Choice Angus beef, salad, potatoes, and wine as a turkey alternative, just over $30.
Comparison to National Average
For context, the American Farm Bureau Federation estimated the average cost of a classic Thanksgiving dinner for 10 at $58.08 in 2024—making Walmart’s deal a notable saver, especially with turkey prices down to their lowest since 2019.
If you’re shopping, no Walmart+ membership is required, but it unlocks perks like free unlimited delivery. Prices may vary slightly by location, so check Walmart’s site for exact totals.
I don't think 9% was standard but I think the Biden admin was tone deaf in it's response and exaggerated the problem. This is evidenced by dems trying to pass BBB while inflation was near it's peak. They were only thwarted by one vote in Joe Manchin. Personally i think their response to inflation was the deciding factor in the election because it's my opinion the economy and inflation were the biggest issues that voters based their votes on.You want to say inflation was and is an issue, no arguments, want to say you feel Biden’s policies were inflationary, again no issues with the opinion at all. Someone sounds like they're tryin to cope. How many of these people would’ve won in a swing state?

wasn't unemployment in 2020 COVID based?Thank goodness Biden fixed Trumps unemployment he passed to him. He got unemployment way down.
they still have a hard time with toxic masculinityModern liberalism is feminine. White, liberal women have an abundance of suicidal empathy. It’s gross and unfortunate. There’s a ton on this very board.
LOL, you're almost there! You're getting warmer lolwasn't unemployment in 2020 COVID based?
Or, you could be a human being and hold empathy and logic in both hands.I take Tai Chi with a lady nearing her 80s. She went to a No Kings rally. I laughed and shook my head.
As Reagan said about Dems/Libs/Lefties "The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so."
Indoctrinated single white woman are the worst ones as the propaganda of the left gets them in the "feels."
I have worked with and been around enough to know they buy any and every left wing narrative. They allow their empathy to override logic.
They would be against Trump for that reason alone but add his persona into the mix and its gasoline on a 10 alarm fire.
Why can't you make a point without insulting people? Putting down someone who doesn't agree with you is the sign of an insecure person, the experts say.Or, you could be a human being and hold empathy and logic in both hands.
Conservatives are binary thinkers, with no nuance. Their brains aren't developed enough to think outside themselves.
This is a sign of little emotional intelligence, but also little logical intelligence. Thinking is hard. Nuance is hard. Empathy is hard.
But you take the easy way out, and anything that threatens that little box you're in makes you get a wittle bit scared. That's ok, but it's certainly not a sign of health, intelligence, or maturity.
Tell The president that, the entire MAGA party that, and the post I quoted, who was "insulting" liberals. He said he laughed at the 80 year old woman. Why can't you make a point without insulting people? Putting down someone who doesn't agree with you is the sign of an insecure person, the experts say.
Those are all rational and genuine arguments. Even agree on a lot of it. I am not a "everything the dems do is right" person.I don't think 9% was standard but I think the Biden admin was tone deaf in it's response and exaggerated the problem. This is evidenced by dems trying to pass BBB while inflation was near it's peak. They were only thwarted by one vote in Joe Manchin. Republicans are running the same risks now. While inflation has been reduced it is still too high. Looking at the numbers i feel like housing inflation is the largest factor. Energy inflation has been crushed. Grocery inflation has been reduced to normal levels. But housing is where people are disenfranchised. I think its part of the reason why young people are turning to socialism. They feel the capitalist system is leaving them behind. They can't afford a place to live why should they support that system? They don't feel like they can ever catch up.
I would like to see republicans make an effort to increase housing supply, bring prices down, and make housing more affordable especially for young people.
Mamdami won on making things more affordable. I just don't agree that freezing rents or offering free housing will be the solution. But voters wanted to try that way and so that is the way it will be. I have serious doubts but if it works more power to them.
I don't agree with your assessment that it was unqualified or disingenuous. I gave clear, logical, reasons for my stance. Those are all rational and genuine arguments. Even agree on a lot of it. I am not a "everything the dems do is right" person.
My pushback was on using an unqualified and disingenuous argument or figure previously alone.
YES. Literally my point. I wouldn't use that unemployment number and act like covid didn't exist. But using the 9% inflation number and acting like covid (and the huge aid packages passed under Trump as well) and the post-covid recovery WORLDWIDE didn't exist is equally as disingenuous.wasn't unemployment in 2020 COVID based?
