True hillbillies are hard working, self reliant, generous, religious folk. They are a bit leery of strangers but once they befriend you its usually for life unless you do something stupid to piss them off, mess with their family or property.

I got simple rules that should govern any laws. The patient and doctor determine the treatment. Not government bean counters or insurance. You collect a premium you pay the bill. Anything less is fraud. Build out the laws from there.

I do believe that government run healthcare especially "Medicare for all" would bankrupt the country. And, IMO, the fraud would dwarf all the combined fraud from SNAP, Medicaid and Medicare combined.

that's a big part of our budget problem in the federal government. They keep passing these omnibus bills and they're so big the rank and file have little idea what's in them. It's the leaders who stick what they want in the bill.
