Only seen it once. Next person in the theater, snap a photo of the helmet.

Haha. My theater has $5 tickets on Wednesdays so I may go see it tomorrow. I'll keep an eye out for it. Can anyone be more specific on exactly where it is in the AT-AT?

Then why would Ren talk to the Vader mask, but not act the same way when in the presence of Snoke? Interesting, but I don't think so.

I understand what your saying here, but considering they burned him in 6, it makes me wonder how a half destroyed Vader mask mad it this long?

Not sure how that's even plausible. That would mean they both would have been at an age where they would know one another and she would know her parents. She never knew Han and Lei personally. Unless Ren was able to pull this off at like the age of 6.

The article is talking about people getting their memories erased.

Between all the clues they give to her being Luke's daughter and how many holes it would create to be Han and Leia's daughter.......... they'd be crazy to say Ren and Rey are siblings.

Rey being a solo would mean everyone was mind wiped.... and that would just be a tough pill to swallow as fans.

It's clear to anyone that watched the movie that it heavily hinted at Rey being a Skywalker. The way the lightsaber called to her, just as it did her father and grandfather. The leitmotif that appeared when she first held the lightsaber in the duel with Kylo Ren - it was Luke's theme. The look on Luke's face as he turned around. It said it all.

Rey is a Skywalker, plain and simple.

Snoke is a guessing game as is a lot after VII, which is apart of what makes this truly refreshing.

If Rey is Luke's daughter, then there's a HUGE hurdle to overcome in finding a mother for Rey (as was discussed ad nauseum in the prequel trilogy).

Perhaps it's some sort of weird clone situation, but that'd be cheap, IMO

They probably won't call her Mara Jade but it will be a Mara Jade character. Its too good of a story not to go with it. A former dark side hand sent to kill Luke but they fall in love and have a child.

Yeah I don't think Ren would have wiped everyones memory of her. That's just too over the top.

Right, but that's a bit of a square peg after the prequel trilogy made such a big deal about Jedi not falling in love. Why would Luke make the same mistake Anakin did?

Which is why I think that if they go for the siblings dynamic, then the backstory should be Ren lying to Snoke (and everyone else) about killing Rey. He faked her murder and marooned her as a compromise but was afraid to tell Snoke about it during that scene in the throne room in VII

So we are to believe Luke was to never fall for a girl as the most famous Jedi ever?

I believe Disney will also be making my a Rogue two in order to explain gaps between 6/7 just like next December they are making a Rogue one.......they spent a fortune and will want the biggest return possible.

It made $40,109,742 on Monday, beating Spider-Man 2's Monday record by about $13M. It is now 68th all time domestic after 4 days.

40 million for a monday .. this movie ...man alive.

As long as weather cooperates 2 years from now... they should just movie episodes 8 and 9 to December. While they most likely won't make the same money, it sure won't be too far off.

This movie is going to be the #1 grossing domestic film of all-time when it's said and done. It's absolutely killing it - should be somewhere around $325-$330 million after today. That's unreal - just 5 days in.

Other question is why does Luke have a mechanical hand when his replacement hand was not mechanical like the one Anakin had at the end of the Clone Wars? If you remember the end of ESB Luke had a human like hand with flesh, fingers that could feel pain(med droid pricked him and he yelled ouch), digits that moved independently... At the end of the movie when he removed his hood it shows a mechanical hand. Curious as to why this is? Did JJ make a mistake, was it symbolic...

Just got back from the movie. I'm so happy minus that one part, although that's what the actor always wanted to happen.

Snoke had me going for a minute looking ridiculously large (then just a hologram) Nice play.

How does Ren get off the planet? Did I miss a ship? I'm going to have to see it again, I suppose.

Driver was excellent. Ridley was good and Boyega a-ight.

What prompted R2 to wake up? BTW, surely those R2 scenes were shot before Apple introduced Low Power Mode.

I'm so excited to read the Internet now.

The hand isnt a big deal at all. Its something that might be explained in a comic or one of the upcoming books but I don't think its something worthy of spending screen time on.

There was a scene where Hux went to talk to Snoke about the weapon blowing up and Snoke told him to go get Ren and bring Ren to him so you just assume he did it.

I took it as R2 woke up once Rey showed up. Probably in his programming to only go into full power mode when Luke or his daughter showed up.

Snoke told Hux to bring Ren to him so that he could complete his training. I assumed Hux found him and they got away on a ship before the planet imploded.

Seemed like the time was short between the 'go get him' talk and the whole thing imploding, but that's kind of what I assumed.

Force sensitive droid. Nice.

Snoke told Hux to get Ren and bring him to compete his training.

R2 was being programmed in the scene with Luke with the hand, and R2 was programmed to wake up and share the map piece when Rey appeared. The key is Luke needs Rey to counter Snoke and Ren.

You would think Leia would have done something with the Force the last 30 years besides "forcing" down a bunch of Twinkies and Cokes. Geez.
