It is worrisome because I hear he registered 14 new voters outside theaters showing the Melania movie.
Didnt CNN report that 83%ish of Americans support this? If i saw that correctly shouldn't most everyone here except for the real radicals who hate America support this?
Who could be on opposition to this? At best this is repubs wasting time. Right?
84% of Americans support voter ID.
33 out of 38 developed countries require ID to vote.
36 states already require ID to vote, including solidly blue states like Rhode Island, Delaware, and Connecticut.
The SAVE Act should be the easiest piece of legislation to pass in the history of legislation.
Here’s the gameplan:
End the zombie filibuster, pass the SAVE Act, implement voter-ID, and secure our elections.
The Dems will lose 2026 in a catastrophic landslide without their ability to cheat.
Not only will Trump have larger majorities in both chambers, but the American People will see that the Dems are not actually all that popular. The Dems’ perceived support is all one giant ruse.
If we pass the SAVE Act, the 2026 election will serve as incontrovertible evidence that the Dems have been engaged in election fraud and treason. The public will have witnessed the sharp contrast with their own eyes.
After the People see that the Dems are frauds that can only win by cheating, the public will not only be more willing to accept the reckoning, they will be cheering for it.
BREAKING. Chip Roy just confirmed the United States Senate HAS 50 VOTES to PASS the SAVE America Voter ID and Citizenship Act.
Now he’s calling on John Thune to NUKE the dead 60-vote zombie filibuster and put it on the floor.

This should be so innoculous. Literally admin housekeeping. Mind blowing that its not.
Having to bring your birth certificate or passport to vote, rather than just your Drivers License (or even a REAL ID Drivers License) to vote is a clear way to prohibit everyday citizens (whom millions don't have access to their birth certificate or haven't gotten their passport) from voting.
It's as simple as that- it's voter suppression.
99.9% of undocumented people I know don't have a Driver's License and they DEFINITELY don't have a Real ID driver's license. None of them are voting lol.

The standing filibuster should be funny.
Aside from the awesomeness of the SAVE Act finally being set for a floor vote, the ensuing sh*t storm will force the Democrats to actually chime in with a standing filibuster on the floor of the Senate and defend their position to the public as to why they’re against these common sense measures that roughly 85% of the nation supports.
How long they decide to beclown themselves defending the indefensible is unknown, but unlike the zombie filibuster where legislation is left to sit in purgatory b/c the minority party won’t budge and the majority d/n have the 60 votes for cloture that then moves a bill to the Senate floor for a final vote which only requires a simple majority of 51 votes.
To stop this they’d have to have Senators standing on the Senate floor speaking 24/7 without a break trying to convince America about that black people aren’t capable of obtaining a photo ID…which, BTW, is racist AF.
I can’t emphasize enough how vitally important this is in regards to saving the Republic. We simply can’t allow all the election related nonsense and outright theft we’ve been gifted over time to continue.

The Constitution—through Article I, Section 4—empowers Congress to pass the SAVE America Act
The NVRA—which SCOTUS has (wrongly) interpreted to prohibit states from seeking proof of citizenship when registering voters under the NVRA (even when it believes noncitizens are registering)—makes the SAVE America Act necessary

I remember when republicans opposed being able to register to vote when you renewed your driver's license. The reason was that minorities were less inclined to take the time to register. IMO that was clearly wrong. Democrats oppose voter ID laws for a similar reason and it's obviously wrong.
