It made me feel better about next week to see our defense get back to flying around and creating turnovers in the second half yesterday. I feel like they needed that confidence to get back in "ball hawk" mode, and to get out of the mindset that all of the sudden they couldn't stop ****. Hopefully that feeds into next week defensively.
I have no doubt that Offensively, Mullen will have a good game plan put together. And if you listened to his post game interview, he was already talking about how this week we will "do a lot of things differently, because this is a very important week for us"....so I think OM fans that are expecting us to not be as prepared as usual, will be upset.
What concerns me is that I feel it will be a close game, so special teams is crucial. They have a better special teams unit than we do. Especially field goals. We do NOT need this game to ride on the leg of Devon Bell.
