Tarris Reed is a good comparison for what Najai can become.
Both are old-school paint beasts who don't shoot 3s and don't shoot much outside the paint but can use their physicality to own the paint. Similar size at 6'10 265 lbs. Their efficiency numbers were very similar this year, Hines actually had a higher KenPom O-Rating, is a better FT shooter and better Shot blocker. Reed gets more minutes and shots and has a better FG% at 64.2 vs 60.2 for Najai.
Biggest difference is Reed is in good shape and has the saavy and experience to capitalize on his advantages. He's a good passer and gets the most Usage in UConn's offense while Hines has a very low Usage and Shot rate. If he comes back to Seton Hall that needs to change. Hines has the tools to average a double-double but he needs to get more touches to do that.
