Nebraska blows out Troy and TCU takes down Ohio State in a game that went down to the wire. Wisconsin only up 2 on High Point at halftime, and Louisville up 10 on USF at halftime.

Duke does not look anything like the #1 overall seed. These big 10 teams play tight and whether it is High Point, St. Peter's or FDU they can't replicate playing teams like that coming off big 10 conference play.

IDK really want Penn to win this game. I like rooting for Fran Mccaffrey even though I don't think guy has made a sweet 16 lol, but I guess he is similar to how Willard was with us at Seton Hall when he was with Iowa.

Also I feel IVY league schools get hate cause these guys are probably mostly rich lol, but I actually think they play really good basketball. They just lack the talent with their qualifications, but I enjoy watching them play.

AJ had 35 for BYU, BYU probably should have been seeded lower. Sean Miller makes a streak of the dayton first four 11 getting to round of 32 in 13 of 15 seasons

If we lose Budd there is a point guard from McNeese who just scored 16 points on 7-12 shooting, 2-3 from 3, had 6 assists and only 1 TO against top 20 Vanderbilt! Maybe we can afford and get him.

HE IS Garwey Dual!
He badly wanted to come back but Holloway didn'r trust that he would be ready to play early this season after his shoulder operation that severely limited him the previous year. That and he would not have been able to work on his game in the spring, summer and maybe the fall.

Most readers know I liked him more than others. He would have been the perfect/affordable backup to Clark, And maybe at times play with him on the court. Two dominant defensive guards.

Georgia looks like one of the worst P4 at large teams to ever get into the tournament. I said St Louis was getting in even if they did not win the A10 but this is ridiculous what they are doing to UGA.
Enough with the mediocre football conference teams getting in at the expense of good mid-majors! And maybe future committees can not let nine or ten teams per conference in anymore when it clearly should be spread around a little more.

But, I am not counting on any changes. I expect same or worse.

I don’t think he would ever come back in a reserve role.

I liked his defense, although I don’t throw the word dominant around that much. Liked his size too and had such high expectations last year. His offensive game drove me nuts and it didn’t help that most of the time it was him turning his head back to hear Sha yell some instruction every 15 seconds.

Seems like whatever personnel that HC Schertz has his teams continually find ways to play well offensively. You can see why he’s so sought after as a HC.

How do you give up over 100 points to SLU? Hey NCAA Selection Committee while you were at it why not also put Auburn in too. Geez.
Sometimes teams have a bad game or get blitzed, so I don’t think you can judge anything from one game. But Georgia was kind of like NC State just in a better league. The OOC wasn’t good at all - but playing in the SEC gave them a million games against other tourney or at least bubble teams, and they have 5 wins versus others in the NCAA field. They basically get the treatment a BE team with a similar profile would get in the past because the SEC has depth and strength that the BE clearly does not right now.
