I just had a bad experience with ESPN. Tried to set up an account and got all the way to put my credit card in only to be rejected and had to make a call. The reason for the rejection was the drop down in their system (Disney, HULU, and ESPN) shows the wrong city for my zip code. Therefore the city that pops up (DOVER NJ) is not the correct city for my Card, thus a rejection. So I called them and explained that the drop down in their system does not have my city and has the incorrect one. I even volunteered to fix the table. All I got was I needed to call my credit card company. I even explained that I tried with another credit card (my wifes) and the same problem. All they had to do was go online check for zip codes for my city and the city that is in the drop down and they would see their system is wrong. I left my name and phone for a call back if they follow up and fix it .......maybe.

Any way just advice for anyone do not wait till the last minute to sign up for ESPN. Mine might be a unique problem but you never know.

If you are a Xfinity subscriber, you may soon be able to access the ESPN app through your cable account.

Xfinity has reportedly reached a carriage agreement with Disney for its various channels. That deal is to include access to the ESPN app as other cable carriers have. It may not be available for Monday's game but media reports are that it will happen soon.

Likewise, the belief is that YouTube TV will have the same access once they and Disney reach an agreement on a carriage deal.
