It is very obvious that many have not watched pike coached teams. They nearly always make a push.

Even before there was talent we would make comebacks on the road that would fall just short. Why people constantly doubt will always blow my mind.

This team has flaws but so does every team in the big ten. We have small margins but we are almost always going to compete.

Still in shock. What a come back. Though I am an eternal optimist I was looking for positive signs in a loss. Glad I was wrong. What a freakin great win

The amazing aspect of the game is that Rutgers came back from a 19 point deficit by stopping Penn State from scoring on their last 14 shots.Simpson was the star on offense and a shout out to Oskar for the three pointers.

As many of us didn't. Rutgers was tougher mentally and physically. Simpson is a leader and the guard is changing. Quickly!

Rutgers always makes a second half run.

Albany here we come!

I gave up last week. Does this mean me too or just today? LOLOLOL

Lots of people deleting posts from the game thread right now. You know who you are.
Doubtful. I don't care about tough posts in the game thread, because that's just stream-of-consciousness stuff that just happens to get recorded now that we have social media - these are comments everyone makes yelling at the TV. What I despise is people starting threads excoriating the team or players during a game, which ain't over yet. That's inexcusable. Just wait until it's over and even then, criticism is ok, but the brutality is unnecessary.

Nah screw em all. Bunch of **** talkers who trash the team when they’re down and then act like they love em when they’re up.

In the game thread some posters were calling out players that should not return to the team next season.

It’s great that we won, but Penn State is not a good basketball team, and we are not playing well right now. Anyone in the Top 30 would beat us pretty easily the way we have been playing the past couple of weeks, and hard to see us turning this around with a weak bench and Mulcahy in a deep funk. Great to get into the Tournament again, but don’t expect us to do much.

What!?

They've been good there all year. With a tourney bid on the line, decent crowd (for them).

This was a good win

There's almost no shot at Albany for us, sadly

yeah I dont know how a 8/9 gets sent to Albany...as we discussed earlier its looking like Uconn at a 4 and another 4 like Xavier...RU isnt being seeded 5th and its big longshot for a 6...like long longshot

I will ignore the vitriol, because you would hide behind your wife and/or your children before ever saying something like that to my face. I am just being realistic about we’re we are now, we are not playing good basketball heading into the final stretch of the season, which is when you want to lift your game, not fall apart.

Yeah not to take this thread too off base but Albany will be for two of the 4/5's.

Unless UConn can move up to a 3 and we end up as the 6 or 11 that happens to get matched up with them.

There's probably a 1% chance of us being in Albany
