Pike is a GREAT coach.
19 minutes for Palmquist - 17 for Hyatt
28 minutes for Simpson - most in a B1G game for him - 26 vs Indiana previous high - 7 mins last time vs PSU
Who woulda thought!

Great adjustments at halftime on Pickett - seemed like everyone took a turn guarding him and the doubles came quick with phenomenal rotations.

What a game. It's a great time to be a Rutgers fan!

I don’t think many gave up. The game was not on CBS so I don’t think fans really knew what was going on.

I'm not a Pollyanna. Just watching the flow of the game, I felt it would turn. Oddly, however, in football games last season, I felt the opposite when RU was ahead early. But with Pikiell's teams, they seem to thrive being down. I don't bet, but maybe I should start.
I agree but how we played in the last 4 out of 5 enters your thinking also…no?

The point is, some fans turned on the team. Others continued to support the team.
Just one comment about nuance here...Some, like I did, changed the channel. I didn't give up. I didn't badmouth the team and say we're terrible. I just decided it wasn't our night and I had better things to do. I think there are more than 2 categories here.

Are you saying UConn vs. RU would be a UConn home game in Albany?

UConn to Albany says 2 hours 10 minutes, RU to Albany 2 hours 50 minutes. We have over twice the alumni and students.
UConn has a massive support network in northeast from winning 4 nattys.

Agreed . Different. The ones who attack their team when not playing well are who I’m speaking of.

Gonzaga as a 3 MAY have a shot at Albany. This we can get there as a 6 seed if everything works out

I am not the one insulting people
He didn't insult you. He cursed you and told you to get lost. I thought it was over the top, but it was also harmless.

Strangers can say whatever they want to me all day long, online or to my face, and I couldn't care less. I'd ignore it, or respond in kind, or laugh. Only way I'm going to attack someone is if I'm physically threatened (and only if I see it as a serious threat) or if I'm actually attacked.

IMO, only childish people, the weak-minded, or criminals, would attack somebody over being cursed or called names. Most people I've met who live (or lived) in NYC would never be troubled by someone saying something as harmless as FU to them.

But you do you, tough guy.

Understood, do you agree with Shack that UConn vs. RU in the NCAA Tournament in Albany would be a UCONN home game? I don’t.

It seats 17k you think they’re tripling us up? 13k to 4k? Maybe idk

Oh didn’t finish reading it all. I have no clue about numbers, but yes I believe we will be outnumbered by quite a bit.

I live in the world of sports reality and have highest level experience.
We came back from the dead and pulled out a game every person in the country including you thought was lost down 19
In the second half.
Someone had to step up and lead and it was # 0….stop wasting your energy calling out people who thought we were dead in the water yesterday and give props to the kid who won the game for us, along with Oscar who’s taken abuse from all you self virtuous I’m such a good fan posters
Agreed. Not a fan of this post from ‘72

LOL. Funniest thing in this thread is poster "NYC" getting all being out of shape and threatening based on someone saying "F... You". I mean has he ever even been to NYC? FU is like a term of endearment in the city.

And yet, New Yorkers rant about Philly fans being proud of a bad reputation. Those who claim NYC as their city ought not throw stones.
