I remember how much doom and gloom there was when we lost to Army. I was at game and had said it was a very good Army team with tenacious defense that made us look bad. Army is 8-2, will likely rise even futher in rankings and has the top defense in Patriot league. They ride you, are very physical and fluster the hell out of you. We played Army defense today. OSU looked bad, the same 7-0 team playing at home and ranked 4th in nation.

Probably our worst game of the season. We all underestimated the new faces and coaches. Things take time in this case. The fundamentals are here. We have a great staff and talent to work with. It’s about getting better playing our best ball at the end of the season. We have the opportunities in our schedule ahead. Today is a the time to enjoy this win though. No one expected this. I watched the game again. The team work and communication is light years from where it was to start the season.

It can’t be overstated enough. That team doesn’t lose at home.

Thought we moved the ball on O, especially in the 1st half, the best I can remember. Fast, crisp & on the money.

That’s how we have to do it. We don’t have a fogo Star obviously. Muck it up, get groundballs.

Way too many permutations and possible scenarios to say that, but 8-6 with our SoS in the best conference should do it. It’s a very regular occuremce throughout history with what our numbers would look like. Especially if one of those wins is Maryland or Penn St. assuming Michigan.

PSU is absolutely obliterating the Terps in CP. Its 8-1 PSU after the 1st quarter.

Chiming in to say that I will take an RU lax tailgate over any other sport especially if you have halfway decent weather.

The scarlet lot fills up but you still have plenty of room as you do not have the density of grills, tents and people that you would at a football game.

Its very chill.

Congrats to the lads, what a great win!!!

It's especially big for the staff. Let's say there is no love lost between the two head coaches. OSU's coach is a complete doosh.
I have know Nick for a long time and I have never seen him be anything other than super nice.

Love how Gallagher is really starting to feel comfortable at attack which is only going to make them more dangerous. 2,3 yesterday is a big step and 5 goals from middies is going to be a huge help going forward

Totally agree- I find it a much better tailgate as you said, park close, no lines in or out and no parking fee. Much more fun and can spread out a bit for grill/tent setup.. No zealous town hired security guards to speak of like at football games and no one parking you when you get there. I often park along the grass of Scarlet lot toward Greek Orthodox Church and kids throw ball around away from cars. Can get chilly for night games. Maryland is a Sunday night game.

On a side note, that team is super cheap. Number 32 got caught once, but on on more than one occasion he slashed our guys after a score. It's on tape.

Kid is going to get one some day, and it will be well earned.

I won't air dirty laundry, but I can tell you there is no love lost between the staffs.

I'm certainly no Ohio State basher, but in lacrosse I've always thought they've been lacking in the sportsmanship department.

I have been on the field for two games when we played them and I'd say they were borderline cheap. Certainly unsporting.

Yesterday was different. Straight up cheap shots. Number 32 especially. He got called for one but was doing that **** all game. It's on tape. People will see that. Wouldn't be surprised if somewhere along the line someone gives him a cheap shot of his own. I'd expect it at this point.

Some of it was frustration from us breaking their will and spirit and some of it was they are just straight up meatheads.

From what I can tell and have seen, there isn't a lot of love for OSU around the league.
