Lost 4 of 5 faceoffs in Q3 plus 5 turnovers. Rutgers had only 5 shots in Q3 vs. 15 for OSU - If those trends continue, it is not a good sign for the good guys.
I disagree. Out of those 15 shots, all but 3-4 were legit. We are forcing really now percentage shots.
Exactly. If they get into the zone, it will be very difficult to stop it since we cant win a faceoff if our life depended on it.
Pouring it on now 13-6 and slamming the door shut. That's the killer instinct I was looking for.

Ohio St was ranked #4, RU was unranked. Seems like a big Upset to me, although I'm no LAX expert. Not even close.
The OSU move that the announcer is gushing about was a crease violation anyways, so yeah, there might be some OSU bias...
Best game RU has played all season. It was a great TEAM win! The entire team came to play and really took it to OSU. I was really encouraged when we went up 7-2 at the half. But when OSU scored the next 2 goals to make it 7-4 early in the 3rd period, I thought, "Oh boy, here we go again." That'sl because we have wilted in the 2nd half when playing with the lead. This time however, was different. Mullens, Cham, et al dug deep and would not let their lead dissipate like previous games and took it to OSU and dominated them.
The only tiny criticism again would be faceoffs. We just really suck at that. But what we did do well today was not only play really good D but also in transition took the ball away from OSU players streaking down the field.
For me this was the BEST and most dominant win of the season. Way to go guys! Go RU!
