Ya'll know you don't have enough dbs to cover Wests offense. You'll try and slow it down but it'll just be a slow death to that undefeated season.
Very physical game Tuscola stuck to the plan all night just kept pounding. Officials were horrible gotta say we got a lot of well no calls our way. As for after the game somebody wasn’t happy and #77 for smoky thought he was Billy bad a$$ and bum rushed coach brookshire. He had an unsportsmanlike penalty earlier and went to the sideline acting like an idiot. Don’t know how severe butlers injury was but he missed most of the second half. Rodriquez showed lotsa heart after fumbling twice in the first half and kept digging he was the difference.imo tough game next week we will see what transpires. Go Big T
You are a ray of sunshine bear. You should write for hallmark. There won’t be a rematch. If there was you would lose again:
WH‘s offense is loaded. If you try to cover their WRs, they will run. If you stack the box, they will throw. If you blitz, Kachilo can scramble and run, or pull up and get a pass downfield. We had some success against their defense early in the game. Franklin and Polk did too. THS can win, but it will be tough to keep their offense down for 4 qtrs.

Hopefully Tuscola will use that ground game to grind out 3-4 years a pop, maintaining long drives that eat up the clock, and thus keep that vaunted West offense off the field. Control the ball, control the clock and hopefully able to punch it in for a few TD's. Get a interception and a stop on West and win this game.
The West offense is very good. Extremely balanced and they make you defend every inch of the field.
The big thing about West in D is that they have very few 2 way players and they just end up wearing teams down. Pisgah, Polk and Franklin all had some success early in the game only to run out of gas in the end. Smoky was the opposite, West went up 16-0 on them and just let up.
West is gonna make you defend every inch of the field for a full 4 quarters and that’s what makes them dangerous.
I think West is too complete of a team. Falcons by 14 at home.

This will be an interesting game. With Franklin playing both teams, the big key for me will be Tuscola’s O vs West’s D. Can they ground & pound for 4Q’s? Keeping West’s O off the field will be a huge as I don’t think any D in our conference is equipped to stop them completely. Both teams seem to be well coached. If I had to hazard a guess I’d say West by 7-14 as the second half winds down. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tuscola wins though. Great game to watch unless your team is playing Friday night.
I'm thinking it's going to be closer than many think. Tuscola's definitely the underdog in this conference championship game though. I'd say the betting odds would look something like this (-8 Tuscola).
91ths pisgah bears lives his life looking thru those red and black colored glasses to the point it affects his ability to reason or see things as they really are! He and the other Chappell a$$ kissers club members on here can’t deal with reality or disappointment so they bask in their all world jv team and dream of making the playoffs only to play a number 1 seed ! Really? They keep their true feelings hidden about the goings on and leader of their team only because they don’t want to lose their standing in club Chappell. When he leaves ( and that’s soon) they line up to form a new club and continue on looking thru those colored glasses. It’s almost comical the lengths they go in their reasoning to make themselves feel good about themselves!! Later homers!
Well there HAS been an element of luck in the last two games. What ISNT luck is that they are IN the game at that point to enable luck to even be a factor. I am not a coach, but...... I DO wonder what a screen pass might have accomplished against that 9 man aggressive SM line at SOME point in the game.
I would gladly give you guys one win in next ten years. How many times in the last ten years have you guys lost in the first round .I believe this will be the first home playoffs game in many years.
I guess In pisgah land it’s luck when you score in the fourth and go up by one. And then block their field goal. It couldn’t be grit and determination….perish that thought….
Smoky's running back did not play a 15 yard penalty against Smoky cost them the extra point.
Game of skill and luck that's for sure. Andy never understood why all those guys chased that funny ball all around the field you know. Lucky bounce here or there and someone wins the game.

Our RB/DB didn't play in the second half, smoky had their opportunities to put the game away, call it luck if you want but I will go with imposing a will to win, they played from behind two weeks in a row in the fourth but yet found a way to pull them out. It's not always pretty but they've got it done and that's with almost no passing game and teams stacking the line, just imagine if we could complete just 5 to 10 passes a game.

This thread has been a lot of fun and we still have this week to go.
The Mounties have been flirting with disaster the last two weeks, I think this week they run into a buzzsaw. West by 28
I'll agree, they have to be too run heavy but at the same time they have stayed in the game, when it looked like smoky and Pisgah were taking control of the game the defense makes a play here and there and they make it extremely hard for teams to move the ball, they find a way to make the game ugly. Unless west can make us pass the ball, which I don't believe they will, it'll be another tight game just like the last two for Tuscola.
I think west pulls away in the 4th. They are a well rounded team. As much as it pains me I see a 31-17 type game. Go Mountaineers prove me wrong.
You guys run the ball 95% of the time. You can bet your sweet arse West is going to stack the box and make you pass it.
West isn’t going to have a hard time moving the ball, way too balanced with way too many weapons. The burden falls on Tuscola to a) extend drives and keep the West offense on the sideline and b.) be able to score a bunch.
