Great to hear about Payday. Many were down on him for a pedestrian Junior season after a hyped early career. He stepped up in class from his local High School to the top HS league in the Nation and went from top dog to a player on a team with several big time offensive players. His offense was way down but he still started every game and was a good defensive and team player on a team that was top 5 nationally.
This year he is a Senior in his 2nd year so will be a good test to see how his offensive game will play at the college level. 6 games in and his production is way up and getting props from Finkelstein is a good sign.
He was also mentioned as one of the top performers by On3 at this week's National Showcase
3-star G Darian Moore (Seton Hall) has an explosive game, you like the physicality and the mental toughness he brings. In this one, he showed some shot-making abilities, toggling between playing on and off the ball. He got after it in the half court on defense. He and 10 points in this one.
