In league play, 2nd in 3PA:FGA at 42.7, 2nd in 3PT % at .368. We better have a calm defensive play, they launch. And despite being 3rd in EFG%, they're 9th in A:FGM.

They shot 2s and 3s above average in first game. We shot below. Budd a non factor and played only 20 minutes. Hines dnp. 2 PFs were our leading scorers

I think we are going to be ready this time.

Parker can be so valuable if he can glue himself to Askew all night. Sha has to decide who he clamps down on. The Hall has to shut down one of the Villanova starters plus Askew. Their bench doesn't produce, but the Nova starters can. Either AJ, Clarke or Simpkins must have a big scoring night. They need the first half road intensity they had against SJU. The Hall has an excellent chance for an upset if they show up with the right mindset.

I feel like how we handle Hodge will dictate the game. He hurt us a ton last game hitting the offensive glass and some scoring.

Perkins also always seems to hurt us.

Maybe we can roll out Dar as we did against Tre Carroll from Xavier who scored 22 in a half and then was shut down in the 2nd half? Wasn't only Dar, I think McCray also defended and Sha actually got their attention in second half to take away Carroll's drive to his left.

Let's remember, Hodge is no Carroll and Nova is not St. John's, who handled Nova at home. We were up by 15 vs Johnnies at the Garden before Sha took out some key guys because cramping in second half and we caved. Hoping we have matured and toughened a bit from since then. We have Hines for this Nova game and I'm sure Clark has this penciled in his calendar after that rough last outing vs. Nova. Hoping the guys bring their A games.
