6-6. King William had a kick off return for a td called back for a penalty on the 20. KW then fumbled and W&L recovered deep in KW territory.

KW threw an int on their 19 with 33 seconds. That make 3 turnovers and a kick off td return called back on KW tonight. W&L scored but got flagged for inelegance man down field. @ the half it's 14-13 King William with the lead.

Those two interceptions, two fumbles and the called back kick off return for a touchdown Hurt King William tonight. In a previous post this week, I said this game was going to be a tossup in a previous post this week, and it will come down to who's D is better. That's what it came down to be. Both teams can score but their D is not strong. That's exactly how it played out tonight. This game could of went either way.

KW is 0-4 but could easily be 3-1. Even the Essex game was a 4 point game until the last play of the 3rd quarter. This team is so young and they will only continue to get better. Right now it may look gloomy but the future is bright in Central Garage. Next year all of these young kids will be juniors with a years experience under their belt and throw in the mix some legit studs who are currently 8th graders who'll make an impact on varsity from day 1. Look out for the name Loyal Gresham. He's the younger brother of Marc Gresham. He's currently a 6'2 180 lb running back on jv and just an 8th grader. My guess is he will be a 2 way starter next year and will have a lot of people talking about him before long. This year definitely isn't over and I still think KW will find a way to win the district although they will have to earn it. But I think with a fairly tough non district schedule to prepare them, it will only make these kids better.

Thats great, but you should be talking them up on the 2A board. KW has 680 kids, WP has 260, CC has 195, KQ has 170. Msex and Mathews have about 360 I think. Thats the entire Tidewater District. They abosultely should win it
