Just watched it on Youtube on my TV.
This year it is so much better with just Jerry as the moderator. His love of the sport, knowledge and likeability shines through every episode. The segments fly by. 45 minutes seems like 10.

Kudos to Holloway for allowing Jerry to interview Simpkins from Hawaii. His relationship with Jerry has drastically improved.
Yeah you're right. I don't like to speak negatively about people who are doing their best, but the previous co-host really did have a knack for simply echoing what Jerry said with word salad. There wasn't a good give-and-take. Having just Jerry's voice gives it a nicer feel and makes it flow a lot better.
Hopefully Sha has learned it’s good for everyone not to treat this like we’re in the Stone Age. The program needs content, connection.
It’s a good thing but I don’t get why Holloway deserves praise for this. It’s what he should be doing. And lots more. You get to act like Bill Belichick with the media when you win on that level. Even then it doesn’t make it right per se, but you have the credibility and receipts. You don’t need to look far to see coaches who have accomplished more (in some cases far more) and are acccessible. Some much beyond that.
We aren’t even talking about a sizeable media presence here - this is Carino and the Asbury Press, with all due respect. Simpkiks could say something crazy, and only a few people might actually read it or hear it. Or care.
I’ve been a fan forever. In the best of times, we are 20th fiddle around here. The coach of a place like Setin Hall needs to be relentless to get any meaningful coverage. And that stuff matters these days more than ever.
We now live in an environment of constant media and at a time where the sport is relying on fundraising and awareness more than ever. He needs to embrace it. Use it to introduce players, to brand. It’s a business. The more aggregating the better.
Why things like this site or @Left Coast Pirates or Carino’s pod are really important too. The school needs to recognize how to generate content.
