finish and truth be told, we probably don't deserve the Gator.......
we absolutely got our asses handed to us against Bama, aTM, LSU and Ole Miss and they weren't even close.....And while I don't believe in moral victories, had we played those teams closer, even with a loss to the Rebs, it would've improved our chances for a higher bowl and there wouldn't have been as much talk about us being the product of a soft schedule.......

thats just dumb as ****...football doesnt have SOS factored in- you dont get extra boosts for playing a tough schedule
Auburn had the toughest SOS of the 5 undefeated teams that year, so it didn't matter then either. It was entirely based on preseason rankings and unwillingness of the voters to drop a team who didn't lose.Tell the 2004 Auburn Tigers that SOS doesn't matter.
