We used to have posters go off on Huggs for not having teams prepared. They seem to have disappeared suddenly. Interesting.
Got two players already mail it in. And a whole other group that look like they are lost out there the past two games.
Duh. And it's easy to see WHAT happened. (hint: just look at who is out there and who isn't)
Last two teams have played close on ball defense against Small. Double team him, or mug him if you have to but don't let him have any room to pass, drive or shoot. Nobody else is going to beat you on this team without him having a good game.
Yep. And GOOD coaches do that, and BETTER coaches prepare to run an offense away from that.
And to score on our top 20 defense is run the ball and get inside and back out if you have to.
When you have a 4% 3 point shooter launching 3's with 20 seconds on the shot clock doesn't help.

Even with their entire team guarding him he still performs. The other 4 on the floor have no idea what they're doing.
Small is a helluva player, but if he has to do it all we are one dimensional. We have gotten some games from Andre and Powell and Yesufu and Hansberry but no consistency.
